Flipz Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Cronk hitting on a female orc would be absolutely hilarious! But who said the love plague was over? I have a feeling it's going to start back up when Haldor and Jess return from Zepher's quest! If Wren doesn't manage to break them up, that is... Quote
Zepher Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Hey, rebounds would be fun to watch too. Quote
Flipz Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Hey, rebounds would be fun to watch too. If that happens, I must finish the Quest 17 quickly so Arthur can get back to the Hall, ask Haldor for dating advice...and then attempt to use it on Jess. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 If that happens, I must finish the Quest 17 quickly so Arthur can get back to the Hall, ask Haldor for dating advice...and then attempt to use it on Jess. Yeah dude, so hilarious. Quote
Flipz Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Yeah dude, so hilarious. I can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic... Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic... Being serious with a hint of cynicality. What happened to Cinna? You playa! Quote
Sandy Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 And just when we thought the love plague was over, Cronk now gets his chance Cronk already has the unrequisited love of Chesterine Ziegfried. I'm actually planning a whole quest centered around her, and boy will it be a fun one - if anybody dares to sign up! Quote
Flipz Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Being serious with a hint of cynicality. What happened to Cinna? You playa! Keeping in mind, this is after Super-Haldor of the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Quest gives Arthur advice. For now, Arthur is a (mostly) nice guy. Plus, something in his previous job experience is primed to give him bad advice, if someone would actually figure it out...granted, I haven't given many clues to that--I haven't had the opportunity. Scubacarrot Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Of course I can! Katie has already been planning a few things with Dak, refining his charcter a bit. Quest #13 definitely was hard on him, and the strain is beginning to rub through into his normal mannerisms. He's going to start getting angry a lot more easily, and his psychic powers are going to get a bit more powerful, leading up to his (eventual) change into a Black Knight when he reaches Level 15. Guts' attitude is definitely starting to get on his nerves, as is the fact that he doesn't have any 'guiding voice' in his life anymore. Eventually (Katie says it won't start until I get him to Level 15) Dak will break down, and become the very thing he was trying to destroy; an uncaring creature, unable to feel emotion, unable to feel empathy. In other words, the perfect villain put in a Hero's body. Katie must be a lot smarter than me. My brain is having a meltdown with all this roleplay she's planning. Haha, cool man, and also, thirded Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Time for my character backstory!! William Harkenshire was born to the rich Harkenshire family and joined the Royal Scouts. His father was a con man and William found out on a raid, he didn't kill his father and was dishonourably discharged for failing to obey commands. His archery skills were spotted by the Forestmen and was taken in by them. He then married the girl he loved as a young man and had 2 children, they lived in a small village until demons attacked the village and killed everyone except for him. He then became a heartless killer, killing all monsters before him. Eventually rejoining the Forestmen, he was banished after killing a family they were supposed to protect. He now joins Heroica to destroy all enemies and get away with it. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 See, Tesni is so scary no one even tries a love lpague on her Maybe it's the sword... Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Cronk already has the unrequisited love of Chesterine Ziegfried. I though that was Mabel... Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 When he fires that one arrow in Moria? So? He's does find the herbs when he's trying to heal Frodo, and he's not wearing full-out armor. Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Cronk hitting on a female orc would be absolutely hilarious! Sorry to burst you guys' bubbles, but Katie is being very firm that when and if she gets a Eurobricks account, her Heroica character will be a female Barbarian with a Final Fantasy influence. Apparently Peppermint_M inspired her. She is in our LEGO room right now, looking for the parts she needs, besides the Samurai X head that we'll be getting when we go to Target Saturday on our trip to her hometown. Quote
Sandy Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 I though that was Mabel... I might be mixing them up, but Mabel is definitely married already so she was just flirting. Chesterine on the other hand is desperate to find a spouse, so I believe Cronk would have quite good chances with her. Quote

I just don't remember Chesterine going after Cronk specifically. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 See, Tesni is so scary no one even tries a love lpague on her Maybe it's the sword... Or its the eyepatch, or the devilish grin, or the skull on your belt, or the purple aura going up her arm, or maybe its the hair... Quote
Scorpiox Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I've probably bored you all with Haldor's biography in his quests anyway, but I've put it on my profile for your reading interest. I'm quite interested in Norse culture as a thing, so I had the idea of a victimised individual who didn't fit in with the brutal warrior's ideal. I chose the cleric because I wanted Haldor to be a help to others but still have a relitively high health. I imagine him to be quite intelligent and not weak, I think of him with a thick Norse accent and red hair. Funnily enough he has the joint highest WP in the game. Oh and Peppermint, Tarn did try to infect her a while ago but she was too thick to realise. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Oh and Peppermint, Tarn did try to infect her a while ago but she was too thick to realise. Yep, Tarn spent pretty much all of Quest#5 staring at Tesni or complimenting her without getting much further than a little bit of small-talk. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I don't think having William involved romantically would be good, plus all the good ones are taken. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Or its the eyepatch, or the devilish grin, or the skull on your belt, or the purple aura going up her arm, or maybe its the hair... Real heroes have eyepatches. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Real heroes have eyepatches. Damn you for using the head I wanted to use!! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Oh and Peppermint, Tarn did try to infect her a while ago but she was too thick to realise. Thick skinned dear, Tesni did grow up virually alone on a mountain with a priestess to raise her. In a culture who's idea of courtship was fighting each other to a standstill (Lit: Collapse on the ground exhausted) If none could best the other they were deemed a good match, of course some false falls were taken but that too shows they are suited to each other. Tesni bested everyone, Midtribe and Lowtribe boys were never that impressive to her. I seem to remember Tarn also spouting sweet nothigns to Ellaria... Who became quite distressed when he aimed at Tesni... Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 If Tarn tries anything without Ellaria he's a dead man in the arena. Quote
