Flipz Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Aww, no Doctor who. Makes sense though. Besides, he was the wrong class - Should have been a mage or another rogue. I'm also looking forward to seeing what your next character is. We already have like three interpretations of the Doctor himself already, though (Byverion, Arthur's father, and Quarion). Is there no love for the companions? Why haven't we gotten a Donna Noble-type character yet?! Quote

Flipz Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) I'm not sure why, but apparently my grand attempt at horror has transformed into a comedy of errors. I feel like Camaraderie from Flaming Gumballs ending up useless is going to end up as a running joke now. Edited December 1, 2014 by Flipz Quote
Palathadric Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Ooc: My health should be 11. Level 6 and 5 base health. A mage's base health at Level 1 is 5. Adding 5 levels to that comes to 10. I have to say that I've really been enjoying Quest 116. Highly entertaining and superb party overall. Quote
JimBee Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I'm not sure why, but apparently my grand attempt at horror has transformed into a comedy of errors. How do you mean? There's definitely a creepy feeling to the village, but maybe a lack of dialog has taken away from that a little. Quote

Mostly Docken and Hybros' behavior in the General Store, and then poor Thormanil getting nothing out of the drinks from the Inn, and now...this guy. I swear I had no control over him as I wrote his letter. It just sort of...happened. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I feel like Camaraderie from Flaming Gumballs ending up useless is going to end up as a running joke now. Don't be worried, your attempt didn't go up in flames that badly... Sorry for the burn. Quote
StickFig Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Nice to know you're watching. We're always watching, King of the Zempk. Always. And by we I mean Brickdoctor. Quote
KotZ Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 We're always watching, King of the Zempk. Always. And by we I mean Brickdoctor. Well I'll be sleeping with a knife under my pillow from now on, since we're all immune to stepping on LEGO bricks. Quote
Actaeon Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Flipz, I actually wasn't planning on being an Evoker, but now that you've mentioned it, I might go for it. I just had the scrolls because I never bothered to sell them. I think for now I'll just buy a quiver and see where things go after that. Quote
Endgame Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 And that's a second penultimate battle of mine wrecked by Pumpkin Bombs. Quote
Flare Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Nice to see the reappearance of Magician's Mead and Stickleback Brew Quote
Sandy Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 Your wait is almost over, for the Decamon Tournament will launch this weekend. As I said earlier, it is going to be this year's Grogmas event, and everyone with at least 5 gold in their pocket can participate. The gold is necessary to buy cards at the event, so if you're one of the lucky few with five or more cards in your deck, then the event will cost nothing to you. To give an incentive at participating in the event, I can tell that the cards can be exchanged into prizes at the end of the tournament. And the reward for winning the whole shebang is access to the freshly announced expert job class of the Decamon Drafter. To whet your appetites, I've now uploaded pictures of cards 1-8 of each type into the Decamon article in Heroica RPG Wiki. Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Might I suggest a moderate cap on how many cards be purchased be imposed? I'm not trying to interfere with other players' abilities to "purchase, pick, and choose" - indeed, if I had the gold I'd be doing it myself - I'm just suggesting a moderate cap, say perhaps 75 gold or so? Low enough so that players with only five cards don't have to go against players with decks full of 8s, but high enough so that players with gold reserves can have some benefit from them. Quote

Khorne Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 To the #111'ers, I swear, that's the last time you're missing the priest by an inch . The quest is definitely coming close to its end now though . Quote
Asphalt Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Guess I will be missing the tournament. Quote
