Capt.JohnPaul Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 To the #111'ers, I swear, that's the last time you're missing the priest by an inch . The quest is definitely coming close to its end now though . Argh!!!! No worries, it's a very intriguing quest! Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) I have another question about Zirconias (I'm fascinated by them). If you are an evoker and you have a Zirconia, can you summon all elemental spirits? (Hypothetical question as it is unlikely to ever happen). Edited December 3, 2014 by The Chosen Minifigure Quote
Tachyon Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 You can summon 1 of each element, but only one at a time. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 What I meant was can you summon any element. Quote
Palathadric Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 What I meant was can you summon any element. I should think so. Quote
StickFig Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I pinky promise I haven't forgotten character evals for 102, 102ers. They're coming... eventually!!! Really looking forward to it! Also, reference #102, someone PMed me about Red Death Blood and I faceplamed; could definitely have used that against Chauncey! Quote
Flipz Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I believe he was immune to Doomed and Instant Kill. Quote
Sandy Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 I have another question about Zirconias (I'm fascinated by them). If you are an evoker and you have a Zirconia, can you summon all elemental spirits? (Hypothetical question as it is unlikely to ever happen). This is a wrong topic for asking questions about mechanics and rules. But yes, you can summon spirits of any element with Zirconia, just like you can cast a spell of any element as well. Zirconia isn't that amazing, it's just the equal of having all nine other gems. Except that you can't merge Zirconia into anything like you can do with the other gems. Quote
Chromeknight Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Also, reference #102, someone PMed me about Red Death Blood and I faceplamed; could definitely have used that against Chauncey! Lord Chauncey Level 70 Evoker *Immune to Blinded, Sealed, Asleep, Stunned, Confused, and Instant Kill* *Immune to darkness and light elemental damage* Doomed is just instant kill with a timer. Red Death Blood would' nae work, I did think of it, even if you didn't. Quote
Flare Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) Actually Doomed and Instant Kill are individual effects Edited December 3, 2014 by Flare Quote
Chromeknight Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Actually Doomed and Instant Kill are individual effects Ta. Can I get a citation for that though, A quest reference or FAQ post? I'd look myself but I'm mobile... Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Well, is doomed = sudden death? Probably... They are similar, as doomed inflicts sudden in death in three rounds, but ultimately they are different enough to say that enemies immune to sudden death are stil susceptible to doomed (and vice versa). Zepher Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I thought you were purposely saving it because Alexis or Zelphie would remedy it. But yes, that was an option, though it probably would have been a waste of the item in my personal opinion. Quote
StickFig Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 But yes, that was an option, though it probably would have been a waste of the item in my personal opinion. Hmmmmm. Matthias wasn't particularly fond of failing his task, but in this instance he also wasn't particularly fond of his task, so whatever hahahaha. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Would a complete set be an artifact in each slot? Because that would restrict it to level 50+. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but most characters will probably have pretty optimised gear by then anyway. Seems like this would be more of a discussion type post. I would think at least 3 pieces should be needed. Quote
Palathadric Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Anwyl is dying, there's nothing I can do about that, but without the medicine it will be a long and painful death." First we lost Elphaba and now Anwyl? What is Heroica coming to? Quote
Kintobor Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I'm pretty sure it's Alwyn, not Anwyl. Just a spelling mistake. Sheesh, you people get so worked up sometimes. Quote
StickFig Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Taking advantage of the monk's brief absence, Erik grabs a mug from the table where the well-hatted gnome had been sitting earlier, and finishes it off. I enjoyed this thoroughly. ...The teenaged male human says awkwardly, not at all used to talking with happy, unarmed and attractive women. Two in a row... on a roll! Quote
Chromeknight Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 The teenaged male human says awkwardly, not at all used to talking with happy, unarmed and attractive women. When is Erik's birthday? He's not 20 yet? Quote
Myrddyn Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I enjoyed this thoroughly. Two in a row... on a roll! Thank you sir. Yeah, I realised he should probably be 20, but I didn't want to let that get in the way of making a crack at teenage male characters. Actually, he started off as 18 in late March 2012, which was about 33 months ago real-time, but he's spent 15 months real-time on quests that took place over a total of about a month Hall Standard Time, so he's still only 19 and a half. Quote
Flipz Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Actually, we figured out that the Heroica protection spells carry the Timey-Wimey Ball, so everything happens in real-time even when it doesn't. Quote

It's best just to not think about it. I will be launching the Decamon Tournament tomorrow, and it's going to take place inside a loop in time and space, so you can all continue participating in your quests at the same time that you're in the Tournament. Have fun figuring that out logically. Quote
Vash the Stampede Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Have fun figuring that out logically. Strange, I'd thought we'd long since tossed logic out the window. Sneaky bugger got back in, hang on a moment. *Opens window* *Throws out logic* *Closes window* Wow, he's gotten heavier since last time. Quote
Palathadric Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 More baggage...it must be. I wonder why he doesn't have a sack of holding. Quote

I am going to assume it will not count towards experience though. Quote
