Emjajoas Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 I figure it can't be much worse than having a bunch of low-levels with Docken in their back pocket. Quote
Kintobor Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Fights? What fights? I think you should just have the enemies surrender with the party you've got. The Quest is Successful, now go home and stop being broken. Quote
Emjajoas Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Maybe I'll write out all the fights and replace them with bitterly long puzzles and mazes. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 No, it's good, because now you can just make whatever enemies you want and don't have to worry that they'll be too strong, because they won't be, probably. Maybe I'll write out all the fights and replace them with bitterly long puzzles and mazes. Guts enters the maze, and places his hand along the left wall until he reaches the end. Quote
Flare Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Just use the Endgame strateg - multiply health, level, and SP by 10, and if they still are beaten too easily, revive them Quote
Flipz Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 All enemies are permanently Afraid, and everything the party says is treated as if they were using Intimidation. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Atramor continues his attack "Reminds me of that damn floor." Are you saying you need Hoke? Quote
Palathadric Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Wow!...That's one hell of a team! Quote
Emjajoas Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 (edited) Hopefully it'll be a good time, despite being a walk in the park for you. Also, topic's up! Can't wait to get started. Let's have some fun, guys. Edited December 19, 2014 by Emjajoas Quote
Palathadric Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Would the Duplovian Helmet block the Minstrel's Love Serenade from affecting the wearer? Quote
Zepher Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Interested to see Guts, Hoke and Nerwen team up. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 @Guts Holla: 61 WP! And 149 potions! At level 33! Quote

Sandy Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 Would the Duplovian Helmet block the Minstrel's Love Serenade from affecting the wearer? Again, wrong topic. But yeah, it prevents all ether-based healing. Note: I have another busy Saturday ahead of me. I'll try to update tonight, but if I can't, updates will continue tomorrow. Now I've got to rush! Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Is there any reason there are so few Evoker-Based items in the store? (E.G. none.) Quote
Flipz Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Is there any reason there are so few Evoker-Based items in the store? (E.G. none.) Evokers can use anything Mages or Rangers can, so it's not quite so bad. That said, the last truly Evoker-boosting item was the Divine Cannonade from Quest 75, so perhaps it's time for some enterprising new QMs to come up with new Quests and new equipment. Quote
Palathadric Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Again, wrong topic. One of these days, I swear, I will remember. Quote
Flipz Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 So, for those people interested in helping out, I've made some minor tweaks to the Infobox_item template on the wiki. For an example of the template in action, check out the Phoenix Essence page; admittedly, the rest of the page still needs some work, but it'd be awesome if we could all band together to create articles for all of the consumables listed on the Consumables page. Even something as simple as what we have helps in creating a comprehensive searchable resource. Quote
Myrddyn Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Is there any reason there are so few Evoker-Based items in the store? (E.G. none.) I think the only item created specifically for the store was the Black Knight's armour - everything else specific to a single class appeared on a quest and was added to the store, I believe. So a QM made the Witch's Talisman, and Sandy put that in the store because it's a really useful item for the average witch. A lot of the new-ish class specific items were added after the final battle of Quest #93, where the enemy bosses all had player classes, and so Sandy built a class-specific item for each of them to drop, which were then added to the shop. There are still plenty of classes without their own item in the shop though, like Evoker, so if someone makes an item for one of those classes that Sandy likes and isn't overly powerful or complicated and complements the class, it's fairly likely it will end up available in the shop sooner or later. So what Flipz said. Quote

Right, I'm making a quest! With an enemy that drops an Evoker item! And then, it shall be added to the store and Warlen shall buy it! Now that is a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel! Quote
Myrddyn Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I think that would be possible, but I imagine it would be quite a precise art to make an artifact that fit those requirements, and even then there's no guarantee it would be added to the store, and if it did it would probably take a while, and possibly someone will say actually I'm wrong. But maybe you can do that. :face: Weasel Tail: Summons deal the effect/s of the evoker's equipped weapon. Suitable for Evokers, Accessory. Probably actually OP considering there are weapons that blind on hit and so that would mean guaranteed blind on one enemy each round. Also, there are good items for evokers - there are even good evoker-specific items - there just aren't any in the store. Monkey Bar - (suitable for anyone, the wearer's minions (summons, spirits, undead, etc.) gain the hastened effect, accessory, Quest 40) Okay that was the closest to an evoker-specific item I could find in the treasury, but I'm sure there are others, plus plenty of mage/ranger items are handy for evokers. Waterbrick Down Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Hoke sells the Hydra Eye for 100 gold. 993+100 = 1093 Actually, you were reimbursed for the eye at the end of Quest 116. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Hmm... 1288 - 75 (Decamon) - 120 (Marketplace) = 1093 OR 1188 - 75 (Decamon) - 130 (Marketplace) + 100 (Hydra Eye) = 1093 Either way the outcome is the same, correct? Not being sarcastic. Quote
