K-Nut Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Where did the torso and legs used for the black witch in this image come from? Witch? That's worse then a crossbow wielding Spaniard! I think we're spending an awful lot of time in a room with nothing in it. Quote
Sandy Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 is it alright to create a small scene as an illustration of what is going on in a topic post (such as Heroica Hall) ? Other then character picture, almost every post is just words and was thinking I'd Like to add some illustration (photo) possibly to my next post. Of course, any illustration you want to use in any of these topics is totally fine by me! Quote
Sandy Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 "And didn't the High Conjurator have that same Red and white symbol on him when he was a chair?" Those "symbols" are supposed to be mouths! Are my furniture wizards really that badly built? Quote
Darkdragon Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Those "symbols" are supposed to be mouths! Are my furniture wizards really that badly built? I for one think they are great and the library with the shelves and the flying books is really fun to look at! Quote
Peanuts Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Those "symbols" are supposed to be mouths! Are my furniture wizards really that badly built? I didn't get the mouth of the table was supposed to be a mouth, but it was more obvious with the mouth of Altair the Chair. I like them, really, don't get me wrong. I don't think I could build a better brick-built mouth to a table, though. But it is hard to recognize. I still think you put a lot of effort into this game, the quests look good. But fighting books is...morally questionable. I'd rather fight dogs and Shadeux guards than furniture and books. I'm still about to figure out how much the gold is actually worth, you get a fair amount of prizes during those fights. Quote
K-Nut Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Those "symbols" are supposed to be mouths! Are my furniture wizards really that badly built? Uhm, no comment. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Uhm, no comment. If Sandy throws a Balrog at you, don't expect Cronk to save you. Quote
K-Nut Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) If Sandy throws a Balrog at you, don't expect Cronk to save you. Eh. I'll just become a crusader and throw a shruiken at it. Just kidding. As I've said countless times, otherwise known as twice, I miss the glaring obvious. EDIT: I just found out what a Balrog is. Please no! I'm so so so so sorry! Save me! Dannylonglegs Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 EDIT: I just found out what a Balrog is. Please no! I'm so so so so sorry! Save me! I think that's a first! An RPGer who hadn't heared of the Balrog! ~Insectoid Arisrocrat Quote
K-Nut Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I think that's a first! An RPGer who hadn't heared of the Balrog! ~Insectoid Arisrocrat Not a shocker. I hadn't seen E.T. until last week! Quote
Peanuts Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 I think that's a first! An RPGer who hadn't heared of the Balrog! ~Insectoid Arisrocrat Er, I haven't heard of it either. But I have watched E.T.! Quote
K-Nut Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Er, I haven't heard of it either. But I have watched E.T.! Yeah but you hadn't heard of the Sound of Music! Quote
Peanuts Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Yeah but you hadn't heard of the Sound of Music! Sandy, I've updated my ava. It's still the same fig, but I wasn't contend with the first one. Just to inform you. Here's the new one: Quote
Khorne Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 That is one big direwolf! How could the farmer have not immediatly seen it was the chubby ewe that wasn't a real sheep? Quote
Sandy Posted August 27, 2011 Author Posted August 27, 2011 That is one big direwolf! How could the farmer have not immediatly seen it was the chubby ewe that wasn't a real sheep? Just pretend it's a close-up of the wolf. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 That is one big direwolf! How could the farmer have not immediatly seen it was the chubby ewe that wasn't a real sheep? In a fantasy world like this, if there's something inexplicable, the host can just say 'Magic did it.' Quote
Peanuts Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 In a fantasy world like this, if there's something inexplicable, the host can just say 'Magic did it.' Or in Heroica sheeps are larger than in Real Life. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Or in Heroica sheeps are larger than in Real Life. We know how big Heroica sheep are. There's one in the background of the Direwolf picture. They're larger than humans and half the size of a Direwolf. You're going to have to talk to ADHO about the plural form of sheep. Quote
Sandy Posted August 28, 2011 Author Posted August 28, 2011 The Library is now open! It contains much of the information some of you have hungered for ever since the game launched, so go check it out. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 For those of us planning to host quests in the future, are the factions whose shields are already used by one of the seven powers off-limits? Quote
K-Nut Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Brickdoctor? How did you know there was a library before it was opened! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Brickdoctor? How did you know there was a library before it was opened! I saw the construction signs. Quote
Sandy Posted August 28, 2011 Author Posted August 28, 2011 For those of us planning to host quests in the future, are the factions whose shields are already used by one of the seven powers off-limits? Well, you shouldn't use the symbols for other factions, but you can certainly make quests that involves any of these seven houses. With the exception of killing off the notable members of the houses, you are free to make up your own storylines related to those faction. And please feel free to use the provided map as a help when planning for quests that take place outside Eubric, as well. The world stretches out far beyond the region depicted in the map, though. K-Nut Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I saw the construction signs. Well shoot. I was going to post an Image of a smaller library for fun. Now I gotta do something else with that room. Quote
Zepher Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Hi Sandy, sorry, just checking in. Plus side, Europe is beautiful. Minus side, internet is expensive on the ship. So, I'm still going to try to check in, but maybe not daily. I'm sorry... I was misled. I also pinky promise I will update everything in my signature when I arrive home! I'm sorry for the trouble. I will be home in a week and will try to at least keep up a little. Rufus, keep up the good work, I'm sorry that you're suddenly playing two characters. you all. I promise to keep checking in at least every two days if not daily. Quote
