By the way, I'd like to comment on just how awesome the vast majority of 2nd characters are so far. A lot of them are very enjoyable to read.

I really love Boris and Miderun, but of course I want to kill them both too.

I think Boris was made to test Pretzel's resolve.

I'm actually savoring the moment Boris and Pretzel meet. :moar:

Re: Satchel

Erdy was pierced through the torso by a bunch of barbed tentacles. The satchel is bodywear. I can only imagine that it, too, got punctured and spilled out all of its awesomeness... Heh

Lots of us are looking forward to that!

Re: Satchel....

Don't say such things! Someone might hear you!

Due to circumstances somewhat within my control I will most likely be absent for a day or two, in fact there is a distinct possibility that I will not be using the internet at all during this time, I am very sorry and hope you will understand and be patient, thank you.

A bit late to the new year's party, but I decided to revisit the concept of a revisitable dungeon that was thrown around a while back...

But with a twist: The above image's layout and placement of objects were all randomly generated! (Still a heavy WIP/not shown to Sandy yet though. )

Which reminds me, if anyone needs builds made from Heroica Game pieces like the one above let me know. I ended up getting all of the sets and then some for my daughter. She loves the game.

I shouldn't be surprised, simply based on the time and number of quests thus far, but reading up on the wiki has really shown that this world has quite a lot of backstory...

Yeah, I know! And the wiki has only a fraction of everything that's been going on in the quests! Hell, I haven't even been able to finish the profiles of all my main storyline NPCs yet - there's so many of them alone!

Round 10 of Key Combat:

Thormanil Nihai (Gladiator Trident) vs. Golem Black Knight - SHIELD (Dragon's Wrath: Elemental Breath - Golem Black Knight, Right Rear Counter, Left Front Counter: 43*3=129/2=64 Ice-elemental damage)

Hybros (Darkness) vs. Golem Lieutenant Huxley - Special Damage (Phalanx - Golem Lieutenant Huxley: Phalanx extended by 3 Rounds)

Hybros (Darkness) vs. Golem Lieutenant Huxley - Special Damage (Phalanx - Golem Lieutenant Huxley: Phalanx extended by 3 Rounds)

>Ellaria Arbour (Ignis Fatuus) vs. Golem Lieutenant Huxley - Special Damage (Phalanx - Golem Lieutenant Huxley: Phalanx extended by 3 Rounds)

Flipz, I wonder if your "dice" are sort of flat, with only two sides... maybe you're flipping a coin? There are supposed to be six possible outcomes there, not two!

He then braced himself, not for Annienal's inevitable indecision, but for Miderun's inevitable outburst of "What? Are you klyzark?"

"Shume'a, I want hear this..."

Such language! Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can say klyzark and shume'a at will to old ladies. There is a pestilence upon this land, nothing is sacred. Even those who arrange and design shrubberies are under considerable economic stress in this period in history.

Masterpiece of comedy, that scene.

Yick. So glad I have Overkill gold available to help smooth out the loot distribution--it'd be much harder to keep the overall totals fair otherwise.

For clarity's sake: not complaining about the loot! I'm complaining about how bad I am at dividing it.

As I was making NPC profiles in the wiki, I noticed that I've used the exact same face and hair combo for two of my characters: Lieutenant Serevan and Meliodoul Fogfarer.

I decided to explain the resemblance so that Serevan is the Fogfarer's father.

As soon as I saw that in Quest #119, I could've sworn that Serevan had been a Watch spy in the Bonapartes or something. It's actually a really nice head/hair combo, though, so I'll allow it.

Damn. 120 is exactly the change that I want to see in Sandy story lines. I hope that something of similar magnitude happens in Eubric soon. What if the council had been heads of houses instead.

And the rebellion would've been the Wolfgang

The problem that in Eubric there is not such a clear right-wrong difference between the two conflicting sides. The other problem is that there aren't just two conflicting sides, ultimately all the houses hate each other, at least each one has a clear rival that they could never side with.

Haha, also something I noticed, but figured we'd all let slide - some of us who don't have quite as extensive of a collection have already re-used certain combos.

Well, that wasn't exactly how I'd expect change to occur, but it's still something I think would be awesome (and might be eventually coming too). And sure, the houses don't like each other a ton right now, but if Heinrich and Noctus were brutally murdered I wonder if Lyren and Nuiten might not force an alliance. Storylines where the norm comes under siege is always awesome, because you see wildly new character dynamics. I'm still moving for the Bonapartes to just be randomly killed off and for Eubric to become a pirate haven with even fewer laws with the Ji Pei running wild. :snicker:

Except for those Boots of Evasion... those alone make for a great Raider (or any DPS class) build. Conspirator and those Diseased Silverfish Wings are also pretty powerful.

Ah yes, those Diseased Silverfish Wings... I always forget about those. I had a wrong idea of the Cursed-effect in mind, more akin to Poisoned with an absolute number of Damage done instead of a relative number, thus making them less powerful :look: . Thanks for reminding me of them :thumbup: .

Concerning Conspirator, I should totally upgrade that blade and put my gems from Godricsleif in there. Too bad I spent a shitload of hard-earned cash on that blade (Godricsleif) already :tongue: .

I'm really hope that Eric will be able to put Conspirator to good use. It's been sitting around in too many inventories for far too long being that it's such an awesome weapon.

I really want to make it my first weapon of choice, but I need to upgrade it more first and that'll cost money. Plus, if I use it always QM's will just slap *Immune to Blindness* on all of the enemies :poke: . But yeah, it's an awesome blade. The fact that it was Reno's only makes it cooler to me :sweet: . Too bad Eric can't take Reno's place as the man to rally behind vs the Bonapartes

The Houses still kind of need to exist.
