TheBoyWonder Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Tell us the backstory CorneliusMurdock. I remember that when I first joined Eurobricks I loved watching Cronk. Quote
Tanma Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Oh dear, this love plague is getting out of hand! Now heroes are more concerned with flirting than they are with questing! Maybe the rewards for quests should be romantic evenings on the town, from now on! Leo's such a player. Only 17? Sorry Leo, but prepare to be brother-zoned by both of them. Maybe a future quest will be about searching for a cure to this plague. The way I image that scenerio; the heroes will end up fighting twin cat-like avatars of Amadea and Melodion, whose attacks are a fusion of dance and painting. And the only thing keeping those heroes free from the plague are some magical suits of armor crafted by Oleg himself, which prevent mortals from having emotions. But the more rounds that battle takes, the harder it will be for the heroes to feel emotions once they take off the armor. Quote
Tamamono Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Thanks for a great quest, Etzel! I really enjoyed it! The sets were extremely well-made, the idea behind the quest was great, and the siege battle was awesome! It's just a shame poor Tomas kept getting knocked out. Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Thanks for the great quest Etzel, it has been great fun Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 That was an epic quest. The battle was fun and hard. Quote

Thanks, Luckily I had enough battles to get you to lvl 15 anyway. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Great quest Etzel! I really enjoyed it, was an interesting twist to put me and Elgar both on different missions to get the crystal goblet. Quote
Scorpiox Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 (edited) Your character appears to be a very angry person, Poison Ivy. If Leo isn't careful he will lose an arm. Just don't try it with Cronk, when Cronk angry Cronk start to bash! Hoping for pictures soon. Plus, you might wanna put those charater details in your sig to keep track of them. CMP Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I agree, great quest Etzel. (Though I would've laid off the weapons a bit, and perhaps added some Holy Water that gives the Blessed effect... ) Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 It was indeed a great quest, Etzel! Thanks for letting me participate. And thanks for letting Cronk talk to the Priestess one last time. Quote
Scorpiox Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I then walk out of Heroica Hall for good OOC: I had fun, but won't be playing any more. I really enjoyed questing with you all Sad to see you go, I hope you had fun while you played. May I ask why you chose to stop playing? Quote
Sandy Posted January 31, 2012 Author Posted January 31, 2012 OOC: I had fun, but won't be playing any more. I really enjoyed questing with you all I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not going to stop you from leaving the game, but you do realize that this game does not require constant and on-going participation, don't you? If you don't feel like questing at the moment, you can take as long a break as you like, but if you throw your character away you can't come back to pick up where you left off even if you change your mind. So before you do any drastic decisions you should consider twice. Quote

Oh trust me, she would do that in a second. And when Alisha angry, Alisha start to chop! Pictures will be up once I track down the camera. I'll get on putting th e character details into my signature as soon as the picture is ready and uploaded to Eric's Flickr. Quote
Etzel Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Great quest Etzel! I really enjoyed it, was an interesting twist to put me and Elgar both on different missions to get the crystal goblet. Thank you! I'll post the objectives for the side quests here: Jedi master Brick's side quest This happened in the start of the quest when the party was on its way to the harbour. When the party was walking through the town to get to the harbour they got split up in the Fishmarket because it was so crowded with people. While looking for his companions Elgar noticed another familiar face: "Elgar Gligin! So good I found you! I heard you were going north to the island of Moone on a quest set up by the Paladin Order, right? Good for you! Do you think you could help me with one thing? I've heard tales about a mystic crystal goblet from that area. It has the powers to produce the most amazing potions if used correctly. If you happen to come upon it during your adventure I would be eternally grateful if you would bring it back to me. I'll reward you greatly if you succeed." Ratabor Mossycloak then leaves and Elgar shoves his way down to the harbour where he meets up with the rest of the party. If Elgar manage to find the Crystal Goblet and bring it back to Eubrick and Ratabor Mossycloak, he will get an extra level of experience and 50 gold. This is an optional side quest that does not need to be completed to pass the main quest, but works as a bonus. soccerkid6's side quest This one happened when the party first came to the village of Jernel. When the heroes stop at the small houses in the forest clearing, Sir Glorfindel hears a whisper from the back of the chicken farmer's house. "Psst, Sir Knight. Come here!" Sir Glorfindel goes to back and sees that the whisperer is another peasant. "Well met, Sir Knight! Are you here to free us from the monster that has terrorized our village? What? The Paladin Order in Tanco? Those are too busy and supercilious to care about us peasants. We need your help! A monster has regularly come down from the mountains and taken our cattle and livestock. The worst is that he is immortal, we have killed him several times and he still returned every next full moon. His power is probably a work of Helvetia, the cold Goddess of Winter and undead. It is rumoured that a relic of her was kept in a small shrine in the mountains, maybe the monster somehow came in possession of this relic, a crystal goblet called the Frostheart Chalice. Please help us, Sir Knight, find the goblet and destroy it! There is a path to the mountains if you go north from here, take right when the path splits." If Sir Glorfindel manage to find the Frostheart Goblet and destroy it, he will get an extra level of experience and 50 gold. This is an optional side quest that does not need to be completed to pass the main quest, but works as a bonus. I agree, great quest Etzel. (Though I would've laid off the weapons a bit, and perhaps added some Holy Water that gives the Blessed effect... ) Thanks! The Holy water is a nice idea, but I prefer to keep the Blessed effect uncontrollable by the players. Easier for the QM to use it then. I think the Blessed effect could be useful in other quest too, any god or godess could be the one to bless the heroes. It was indeed a great quest, Etzel! Thanks for letting me participate. And thanks for letting Cronk talk to the Priestess one last time. Thank you, no problem. Good to finish of with some nice roleplaying. Quote

Good to see old Ratabor is still around and lovely job with your quest Etzel, it was quite epic. Quote
Etzel Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Good to see old Ratabor is still around and lovely job with your quest Etzel, it was quite epic. He's a great character so I shamelessly borrowed him! I think the QMs should use more of each others NPCs if they can, it ties together the quests nicely. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I did smile when I saw Ratabor again, love seeing the NPCs in different quests. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Sad to see you go, I hope you had fun while you played. May I ask why you chose to stop playing? To be perfectly honest it is the magic. I am a Christian and according to the Bible (pm me if you want to hear specific verses) all magic is wrong. I knew that when I first joined, but disobeyed. After talking with some older Christians, I realized I really shouldn't participate if I want to be a witness for Christ. Rather hypocrytical don't ya know So that is my reason I will still be active on other parts of the forum though, and really enjoyed interacting with the players I quested with. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Soccerkid, I enjoyed Questing with Sir Glorfindel in Quest#11 and am sorry to see you leave. I would hope that you reconsider as this is just a fun game to pass the time, and not actually anything magical. Quote

Sisco Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 [/Religious] I'm not going to bash your beliefs, but I'm a Christian and I can honestly say that I don't believe that fake magic on a forum is bad. God's not going to send you to Hell for playing an RPG on a forum. But I'm not going to go into that here. [/Religious] Quote

I'm a christian too, but a lot of my biblical leaders have read Harry Potter. It's not like you actually believe in this stuff... Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Well as you have all pointed out, this is not the place for a discussion on doctrine. However I would love to talk to any of you via pm Quote
Etzel Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I'll move the discussion to something more fun. Awesome angel for Cronk! I'm sure High Priestess Alisameth is very proud. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Awesome Cronk! Bashing evil has got a whole lot easier! Quote
