Lind Whisperer Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) EDIT: Wrong topic. Edited February 16, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote
Zepher Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Skrall's actually passed up on 2 playthings. Which is one of the most exemplary acts of RP over stats playing ever, in my opinion. I understand not all players want to play this way (and obviously everyone should play whatever way they want), but as someone who plays with a focus on RP I admire WBD/Skrall for this choice. It makes so much sense for his character - even defines him. Still hoping for a quest with Guts, Eric and Boomingham together. That sounds simply fantastic. Quote
StickFig Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) How exactly is it absurd? Is it absurd that Hoke has had it in his inventory FOR 2 YEARS? Or that Hoke was in at least 2 of the Wren quests? Absurd? Nope. It's patience and strategic PC building. I've roleplayed the Plaything several times in the past 2 years, and soon, it will all come to fruition. You're right - it's absurd only in the "I just bought this consumable at <insert shop name here> and now I have a ridiculous weapon." Which is what everyone was saying on this topic. You're forgetting overpowered. No, we never forget that hahahaha. Edited February 16, 2015 by StickFig Quote
Kintobor Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I'm going to take a much better picture, but this is a rough mockup for Mystic Knight Annienal. Thoughts? Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I'm going to take a much better picture, but this is a rough mockup for Mystic Knight Annienal. Thoughts? Purple version of Mystic Knight Hoke. Dom't worry, Hoke has an update after the Fields of Glory. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Hey, I was gonna go Mystic... No, really, I can't wait to become one. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) I'm going to take a much better picture, but this is a rough mockup for Mystic Knight Annienal. Thoughts? I love the way it looks, but I can't help thinking that the black pants make her look a little more Black Knight than Mystic. Either way, those are still some great part choices! CMP Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Looks pretty cool. What torso is that? It looks like Ori's from the Hobbit but I thought that had more of a scarf-like thing. Quote

Kintobor Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I added a a page to the wiki on Abbot Watt. There's a new tidbit of info that'll lead into an upcoming quest of mine, but it's not my next quest. Still, neat to see this character finally get a wiki page! Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 In Kintobors vein, here's Warlen as a mystic knight. Thoughts? Quote
CMP Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Looks a bit too mage-y with robes and no helmet. Do you have any armored torsos or chestpieces you could use? Quote
StickFig Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 How is it different from Warlen now? (Aside from the shield, I mean.) Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Pants, Cape, and CMP made me hunt out the perfect torso. Quote
Asphalt Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) Annienal looks good, I agree a bit with the black knights pants comment, but it doesn't bother me. Warlen needs to be armored up a bit. Maybe some shoulder armor or a chest plate. What about the Thranduil torso. STill Elfy, still light looking, but more knightish. Or for a bit more color. Thorin, and he even has magical gemstones in his belt. I am a little jealous of the variety available. I love my figure choice for Vindsval, but he is a bit hard to find accessories for. Kintobor Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I've got both those figures lying around somewhere. Chosen, if you need a new Warlen, I can totally make a fig up for you. Also, new icon, because the reference and the picture was too good. Quote
Yzalirk Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Also, new icon, because the reference and the picture was too good. Five Nights at Freddie's? Quote

If you're going witch, perhaps just set a black pointy hat on top of his head for the picture, with a bit of Blu-Tack if it keeps falling off, and use a chain to secure a cape around his neck? I know the Darth Vader CBBS comes with a bigger-sized cape, although that one is probably too big... Quote
Asphalt Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) I have a figure rebuild done.(except for painting the face.) The purists will banish me for what I did to the figure, but I like it. I do want to figure out a cape eventually, but I think I have gotten him sufficiently venomous looking. Which reminds me, are there any claws/spikes/spines that come in green? The Chosen Minifigure Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Lots. I alone have about 30-ish... " And before I go, I just want to tell you, you were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I." Big yes! Quote

Asphalt Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Lots. I alone have about 30-ish... I only have them in white. I need to get some green ones to get him extra poisony looking. Quote
Duvors Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I'm going to take a much better picture, but this is a rough mockup for Mystic Knight Annienal. Thoughts? By the way, did anyone else see the new post in the Training Room? Because it was amazing. "I grew up in Terra Chima. My father hails from there. My mother was a member of the Brotherhood of Chi." "Well, I do know how we can protect one sheep." The Black Knight reached out and gently petted one of the beasts on the head. "Good girl. You're a pretty girl, aren't you? Yes you are, yes you are." He reached into his Bag of Holding, and pulled out his Trickster's Mask of the Human. "Now, let me just slip it on you, there's a good girl..." He carefully pulled the string back, and settled it around the head of one of the sheep(Maud), so that she equipped it. OoC: I knew that would come in handy. Quote
