JimBee Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Oh, yes, going to the marketplace and buying stuff is such hard work. If you're good at something, never do it for free. Disclaimer: I don't actually follow that philosophy to a T, but I think it's fair to have a service fee for discounted items, like Pretzel did as an Artisan. Both parties get a profit. And if it's actually a problem with abusing the class, then I won't do it, but it's nothing new. At first I thought abusing those kind of job traits should be ruled against (like Marauders being able to get free weapon upgrades). But swils said something about it being fair, and I kind of agree because it's only possible for other players to get the discount when a player of one of those classes is around, and it is just using the trait. There's no rule to say an Alchemist can't sell potions for a discount, yet. Quote
Zepher Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Now I'm ready to leave 105. Especially when that next Baba quest comes up. It's been a long time since Boomingham was on a Sandy Quest, and I'd like to take a shot at it. Quote

( ) By the way, if Heckz ever gets in a quest with Baba I expect him to make a comment of her eyes and finish the quest as a frog. Quote
Yzalirk Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Does anyone think this armor would go good with a Dwarven Ranger? Quote
Cutcobra Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Does anyone think this armor would go good with a Dwarven Ranger? I would say it's better for a Warden. That's just my opinion, though. Quote
Zepher Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 No fair! Boomers already had a quest with Baba! ( ) Yeah, it's like I want to continue through with a story. It seems like it'd be good fun - it's something I try to provide for people in my quests. But really Boomingham is just trying to track down Mumbassa again. His only true friend. Quote
Kintobor Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 And that was Masson's good hand too... I'll respond shortly by biting your legs off, Zepher, I'm updating 117. Quote
Yzalirk Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I would say it's better for a Warden. That's just my opinion, though. Okay, I'm just glad I can become a Warden when I get to Level 15 then. Quote
Kintobor Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 With all this hawking going on, I'm beginning to think a nerf is in order... NERF! NERF! NERF! Quote
JimBee Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 All this talk about the next Baba quest, but wasn't Pie coming out with a Marauder quest? I'd personally be interested in that. Quote

Sign me up! If this FoG run goes as planned, i have a splendid build that will be awesome for a Marauder. Quote
swils Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Guh, a Baba quest. Just when I thought I needed a break from actually trying to roleplay. Quote
StickFig Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Does anyone think this armor would go good with a Dwarven Ranger? Looks like a dwarf ranger to me! Quote

I seem to recall that isn't the first time Boomingham has employed that tactic. Quote
Palathadric Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 NERF! NERF! NERF! I'll pull a Zakura and say: "Nerf Rogue!" Quote
Myrddyn Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Can you merge multiple gems into one artefact to make it absorb that element? Say, 3? I wonder if having multiple gems imbued could mean that you deflect elemental damage to another enemy... Someone could perhaps make an artifact that does that, though - Elemental master's cloak: Immune to *Element* > Absorbs *Element*, backwear. Or whatever. Quote
Cutcobra Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 What's the difference between Moon Elves and Star Elves? In appearance, I mean. Quote
Sandy Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 What's the difference between Moon Elves and Star Elves? In appearance, I mean. There is no significant difference, since they're both represented by fleshies. I am going to use the hairpieces from the Elves-theme to represent Star Elves in an upcoming quest, though. Just gotta get my hands on those luscious minidolls first... Quote
Zepher Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Hey all! I'm going to be doing some traveling this weekend, and unfortunately am not sure if I will have wifi. If I do, I will be sure to check in. If I don't, then things will pick back up on Sunday when I return. 127, hopefully we've been going at a quick enough pace that this is forgivable. 124 Darksten is in charge. 105, Kinto can call the shots. Thanks all for your understanding, and fingers crossed that I'll be able to communicate! Quote
Yzalirk Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Looks like a dwarf ranger to me! Excellent! I'm actually wondering what the armor would look like with pearl gold arms to match the gold on the torso. But just imagine the cunning and adverterous type of Dwarf wielding a hand cannon in that armor. If you've played Dragon Age: Inquisition, I'm trying to have Mhinak's personality similar to Varric's but with some twists and differences. Quote
Cutcobra Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I have finally discovered the mysterious man with the wide brimmed hat! He even appeared in the same quest that introduced Baba! No secret is safe from me Sandy! (Yes, this is a joke.) Quote

No secret is safe from me Sandy! Actually, when I uploaded that picture I too noticed I had used the hat before. But in retrospect, that could be the same guy. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 125 could sure use a dragon right now... Quote
Sandy Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 125 could sure use a dragon right now... Meh, I'd blow it up as well. But boy, I didn't think the trio of heroes were that concerned about sacrificing a few toys... Quote
