Cutcobra Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 How about having Smargdaea's evil twin sister. ... Or better yet, the gender-bended evils: Smaragdeus, the evil twin brother who instead of a lust for gold has a lust for fire, and The Dragonatrix, the girl who is a relative to the Dragonator and is just envious of him. Zepher Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Sandy just said he finally finished moving all his pieces into place! Don't give him more pieces. I'd like to see more reoccurring villains, actually. We've not had a huge number of them, and most are dead at this point. I actually feel they tie together stories better than recurring friendly NPCs, because they really do set a real tangible goal. I can't think of many, but they were big deals when they were around. Baba is the only surviving one, by my count, and Ulric if you want to count him as a villain. Quote
Chromeknight Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Warlen, if he gets back on time, would prefer the Marauders quest. He's equally likely to use each class (low), but would prefer roughly 300 gold to whatever a "Danabs Apple" is. Seriously, what is that? An apple that converts you to Danabs faith? My guess? Danab's apple will be a decent stat boost worth much more than 300g Quote

Duvors Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 All things considered, I'll probably only sign up for one of those quests so there'll be a better chance that myself and Khorne don't end up on the same quest again, I don't want Throlar to be locked in an unending war with one character. I need some room to develop him and I can't do that while shooting off insults every five seconds. Quote
K-Nut Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Amber Makepeace is coming back, just an FYI. Sign me up! Amber is still one of my favorite NPCs that Althiors come across. Both were made cynical by the same experiences, yet they still have entirely different outlooks. Quote

The quest she's returning in is going to a place I've been meaning to go to for at least the past six months. Actually, here's a preview of one of the sets. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 My guess? Danab's apple will be a decent stat boost worth much more than 300g I'd second that. The quest plot seems simple enough that I'm guessing that Sandy's going to have a surprise twist somewhere that either gives the heroes some extremely good loot or something else extremely desirable. I have a feeling that I'm going to regret not signing up for it, but I haven't really displayed that Lind's "strong in faith," and unless there's some sort of unforeseen moment somewhere in #122, like a theological debate on aliens v. magical beings, any attempts to show him expressing faith would inevitably be a bit on the cheating side, playing-wise. Granted, it is "preferred," but there's a lot more heroes that have actually shown faith. All things considered, I'll probably only sign up for one of those quests so there'll be a better chance that myself and Khorne don't end up on the same quest again, I don't want Throlar to be locked in an unending war with one character. I need some room to develop him and I can't do that while shooting off insults every five seconds. Then again, if Throlar's thinking about signing for #130, everyone, even aliens, should have a chance to hear the good news of the Dodekube... I would love to take you too. The quest she's returning in is going to a place I've been meaning to go to for at least the past six months. Actually, here's a preview of one of the sets. I can't figure out if this is supposed to be a City of the Dead, or a city filled with pirate zombies... Either way, I like the look of it! Quote

My biggest regret in Quest #100 is not visiting Fellcrest, so any second chance for Althior to bond with his "people" is great. Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I really enjoyed the dream sequences and the short cameo's that Lupine...had in my PM adventures. Didn't Lind kill him back in #103? Quote
Kintobor Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Didn't Lind kill him back in #103? You killed Alfendi Lupine. His grandson, Lupine the Third, is alive and well, minus his sword arm. Also, yes, I'm working on a quest set in a necropolis. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Didn't Lind kill him back in #103? No. That would that have been Hoke. >Lind does nothing >Hoke casts Ice on Lupine- Crit. (60x2+33+2x6=930 damage. +682 gold) >Arthur holds Sword of the Vampir >Everyone else does nothing Quote
K-Nut Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Also, yes, I'm working on a quest set in a necropolis. Color me intrigued then! Quote

Sandy Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 Didn't Lind kill him back in #103? No. That would that have been Hoke. BURN! I've seen more pics of Kintobor's necropolis, and I have to say he has really put an effort to it. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 (edited) No. That would that have been Hoke. Mechanically, yes, story-wise, it was Lind. Typed somewhere in a PM or in a post I can't find, Lind was the one who made the official final in-story(but not mechanical) blow... EDIT: And apparently I never made that post. I guess I was too busy trying to justify calling myself the Grey Foxer. It was interesting, though, to look back and see how much I've changed RP-wise only three quests later, only one of which has really had any RP. Time and experience... Zepher Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Just like when Dyric stole Hoke's kill when they faced Vonnetate. You can join Boomingham in the delusions of grandeur club if you want, Lind. Quote

Sandy Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 Which would have meant diddly squat with out the game mechanics kill. True that. Lind is quickly becoming Arthur v.2, with all the storyline abductions. Quote
K-Nut Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 BURN! With Lind's cold demeanor, who knows if it did anything. I've seen more pics of Kintobor's necropolis, and I have to say he has really put an effort to it. Quote
Kintobor Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I'm also pretty sure Alfendi denied you the right to use the name "Gray Foxer". I pray you don't run into his ghost. Oops. Guess I should've watched what I put into the image link. Quote
