Palathadric Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I guess we'll have to see how the price change works, but I think it's more a matter of the item itself and its unlimited availability in the marketplace. Just my two cents as a QM who has seen that these items are way more powerful and annoying to deal with than even Nostrums. Sandy, maybe you should deal with Hybros next. No, in reality, I think the price change is good and may even need to be upped further...but don't tell the players' union that I said that. Quote
Kintobor Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Quest #122, I'm unfortunately away from my collection, but I will be back tomorrow to move the quest into the final phase. Sorry for the lack of an update. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 In your guys opinion, what is the most powerful Artefact out there? Quote

UsernameMDM Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Without knocking first, Mhinak barges into the house while the rest of the party followed. Nalguz couldn't enter, though, for his body was too big for the door. We can play with magic, summon monsters from cards, ride dragons, but a PC with a big butt can't fit through the door! But on a serious note, how consistent are you going to be as a QM on this? Quote
Zepher Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I like it. People have done it to Vind and Skrall before as well, and theres been spaces that only smaller PCs could enter too. Quote
K-Nut Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I like it. People have done it to Vind and Skrall before as well, and theres been spaces that only smaller PCs could enter too. I remember getting a horse stuck in a door in Quest #17. It's a nice little detail that is pretty neat, IMO. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I just think it's funny, because soon Hoke will be in a sewer or cave somewhere when he will pull off a High Assault and/or Dragon's Wrath. Quote
KotZ Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I just think it's funny, because soon Hoke will be in a sewer or cave somewhere when he will pull off a High Assault and/or Dragon's Wrath. I think that would destroy the entire sewer system... Do it. Quote
K-Nut Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I think that would destroy the entire sewer system... Do it. Get him in there and get Atramor to summon his Cloud Gigas in there... Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I think that would destroy the entire sewer system... Do it. All that methane... Quote
CMP Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Get him in there and get Atramor to summon his Cloud Gigas in there... Yeah, I should really make more of a point about this...look at the size of that thing. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 "Nobody will miss you here," he said, simply That phrasing...was perfect. Seriously, #125 up till now has been a fairly standard "heroesnark*" style quest, but it's just become incredibly powerful, emotion-wise, even to someone who hasn't read the Bluto arcs. *I hereby coin this word. But on a serious note, how consistent are you going to be as a QM on this? Very. Followed by Anniversary Medal. Followed by Eyepatch. Best item 10/10. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 (edited) Followed by Eyepatch. Best item 10/10. I have to disagree with you on that one - price-wise, it's definitely a lovely buy, but for only 20 gold more, you can have full immunity from Blinded - and that's not taking into account all the other artifacts that offer Blinded immunity in addition to other perks, and that leave the headslot free for more useful gear. For a newbie, it's a good buy, but not for a long-term build, and it's the long-term builds that really determine which items are best or not.
