K-Nut Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 What happened to the Heroica arena? It stopped being used a while ago. I realized that the mechanics didn't work too well either for PvP, so I've been reworking the mechanics on and off again since New Years. I think I'm about halfway done, but if there's enough interest I could finish that soon. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I reckon it's a great idea. Plus I've got a few heroes I want to fight. Quote

Kintobor Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Oh! Awesome party. Awesome? More like The Worst Possible Thing. Seriously, this party's going to be interesting to watch. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Oh! Awesome party. Very pleased to have been picked, and party leader no less . This sounds like it's going to be an awesome quest Sandy Quote
Kintobor Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 (edited) Seriously, looking at the list of heroes we've got a long list of drunken shenanigans and narcissism. I love it. Edited March 20, 2015 by Kintobor Quote

The Chosen Minifigure Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Do the FOGs enemies change per level, or are the red monsters utterly undefeatable for a ten-ish level player? If you could consider working in 3+ PCs in teams or in free-for-all I think it could be quite interesting... Quote
Asphalt Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 (edited) gonna go with utterly undefeatable. And that is if you even get past the sheep. Wanna make a short lived stab at it? Edited March 21, 2015 by Asphalt Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Do the FOGs enemies change per level, or are the red monsters utterly undefeatable for a ten-ish level player? The QMs change the battles to match the party, but there are still going to be picking from enemies from the list, so yeah, it would be pretty hard, I'd guess. But then, the first parties in the unlimited quest weren't that high either, I think. Quote
CMP Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Do the FOGs enemies change per level, or are the red monsters utterly undefeatable for a ten-ish level player? Tyrannosaur Type: Ancient Level: 92 Health: 3105/3105 Special: Devour – Removes the target from the battle. The devoured target is returned with 1 health after the battle. Drops (varies by roll): 1: Adamantite Shard (A quarter of a full Adamantite Ore) 2-6: Ancient Bone (Can be thrown at monsters to distract them for 3 turns. Worth nothing, except in magic shops where it is worth 50 gold.) If that answers your question. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 (edited) And after a whole quest of trying to be Heroica's resident Agent Coulson, I threw in the towel. Lind has just chosen personal gain over protecting his planet. Never mind. Never mind again... Edited March 21, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote

Seeing as you especially have been wanting that since Day 1, I think there might be a possibility of that. I might have to ease into that a little bit first once we get up and running again. Quote

UsernameMDM Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 (edited) Hoke's new look going forward. Trying to incorporate some of the RP'd and actual gear (Samurai Helmet, Heavy Armor, Hydra Skin (Boba Fett caplet on left shoulder), Fur Mantle (RP'd a LONG time ago). Wish I had better photog skills: Now for a pic of adult Torc... Edited March 21, 2015 by UsernameMDM Quote
Asphalt Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I can dig it. Is the droid arm glued to the helmet? Quote
Khorne Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 (edited) I can dig it. Is the droid arm glued to the helmet? I think it's simply held on by the clip that's on the samurai helmet . The antler's made me think of Robert Baratheon's armor: Let's hope Hoke doesn't have a "hunting accident" as well . EDIT: RE #122: [...] Purple cloth was wrapped around her waste, gold epaulettes sitting on her shoulders, making her look important. Next to her stands a short, esoteric looking automaton. Zepher Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Hey, so sorry everyone, my wi-fi is way more patchy this weekend than I thought it would be. HOPEFULLY I can get an update up tonight, but if not I will be getting one up tomorrow evening. My apologies. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Here's Torc's full & final head design. Wish I could figure out a way to take a good pic without building an entire dragon: Quote
