Zepher Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I think Dragons' HP should be stronger than just the level of the player, but also like the idea of it leveling up with the player. Quote

I like the idea of base health + some sort of modifier based on the PC. Since a dragon & dragoon have to be up (not KO'd) at the end of a battle to get XP, and currently there are no defense options for a dragon, I think they should have enough HP in order to not suffer OHKO from these level 50+ enemies we are seeing constantly. Maybe dragons could equip dragon accessories? Suggested Slots: Head Chestpiece Hands/Feet* *Think something like "Bone Claws", not "Gloves". Quote

I agree with you! I think there's a way to implement both the health boost and the leveling up health. Quote

CMP Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Or rather, any class with a summon, pet, dragon, etc should have an additional artefact slot specifically dedicated to their companion. That's completely unnecessary. There are already a number of summon/dragon-based artifacts in the game, there doesn't need to be another slot. Quote

CMP Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I'm mildly embarrassed to admit this, but I don't get the reference. I get the "Killer of Men," but not the Zarlan part... None of it is a reference, Miderun's just confusing the name Sean Cole with the name of a friendly-sounding orcish warlord. A man whose first name means Deathbring in orcish. It's unlikely this Sean guy is as intimidating as she hopes. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 How does this even happen. It's the third explosion in like 25 total shield rolls. It's a flat 1 in 36 chance. Quote
Zepher Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 And as we all know, chance follows a strict set of rules! That is exceptionally bad luck, though. Quote

It's pretty funny though, probably my favorite thing about the Alchemist class. I wonder in practice how much the explosion counterbalances the rest of the class. If someone can photoshop Guts' picture with an explosion behind it, I would love that a lot. Pretty please? Quote
CMP Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Well, I think it balances out the battle in Quest 82 where Guts got three Ravages consecutively and wiped the entire enemy party minus the boss. Too many rolls of one. Quote

Kintobor Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) "Phew! Just made it! You didn't think you could leave me again, did you Eric-boo?" The interactions between Boomers and Heckz was funny enough, but this is the icing on the cake! Edited March 27, 2015 by Kintobor Quote
K-Nut Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 The young novice ran to them carrying heavy bags spilling with trinkets. That posing of Eric is just perfect. This quest just got a lot more interesting. Quote
Asphalt Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I will try to get the trimming a little cleaner at some point if you want. Quote
Kintobor Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I'm pretty sure pistols are not supposed to exist in this setting. OOC: miniature hand cannons? Right, but Sandy's specifically prohibited advanced firearms. Even if they were miniature hand cannons, they're still out of place since they've never been introduced by the Tritech Corporation or the Bonapartes, who would be the two groups who would invent such an item. They easily could've wielded crossbows, bows or heck, they could've been mages slinging fireballs or lightning. (Actually... that would be really cool, I may have to remember that. ) I don't want to get completely negative on Lind, but I would recommend he change it to one, or even a few of the three. Quote

I think story reasons were why the were prohibited, so you're pretty much spot-on. Quote

Unfortunately, I'm not able to change the picture at the moment. The picture in question was actually the example of a finished picture that I originally submitted to Sandy - and he didn't mention anything wrong with it. Also, the artifact I asked for HM approval when I first submitted my pitch on was specifically named ____-Pistol. But, if he'd like for me to change it, I'll of course be glad to do so.
