Cutcobra Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 (edited) Perhaps if he has such high morals, he might do better as a different class? Yeah, I'm not sure if Lind got the memo or not, but one of the Black Knight skills is Hide and another is Dodge and the last is Arrogant Prick. Don't forget the battle style "Corrupted: Black knights look after themselves first over anyone else." Now that I think about it, Black Knight is the perfect class for Heckz. You wanna swap, Lind? I would have to disagree. Every other advanced class available to you does not either dodge, hide or steal drops that could be for your allies. Witches can even be of help. Why not try one those? Raider - Two less health than I have now, class does not match Lind's character. Sorcerer - I don't play ether based classes. Witch - ^Same as above. Assassin: I have actually considered this, but it'd be -4 health, and I don't get to carry a shield. Also, the "steal" ability is only a negative to other players, since it gives me a tiny edge on bartering for loot drops. Edited April 11, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote

Or you could be an assassin of the light To be honest, assassin seems to suit Lind best, what with the use of throwing cards. Also, the "steal" ability is only a negative to other players, since it gives me a tiny edge on bartering for loot drops. You don't barter as such when it comes to loot drops. Bartering implies an exchange in items between two parties, and this is just dividing loot. There is no bartering to be done. Edited April 11, 2015 by Pyrovisionary Quote

And I'm sorry to say that Lind is far from the first "rogue with a heart of gold" this game has seen. Quote

Most of the players have a lot of fun without them, you know. And maybe you can make something like "Munchkin Knowledge" and use it instead of ether as long as it has the same purpose. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 To be honest, assassin seems to suit Lind best, what with the use of throwing cards. I agree, but at the moment, I'm enjoying Black Knight. You don't barter as such when it comes to loot drops. Bartering implies an exchange in items between two parties, and this is just dividing loot. There is no bartering to be done. Good point. Is the shield and minor health boost that necessary? Most of the players have a lot of fun without them, you know. I just enjoy having as high SP and Health as is possible. And maybe you can make something like "Munchkin Knowledge" and use it instead of ether as long as it has the same purpose. There are good reasons as to my choices, but they are private, personal choices, and would take longer to share than(in my estimation) it would be worth.I appreciate everyone who's chimed in with advice, however I am quite comfortable with where I'm at. The only problem I've had was solved by a helpful word from WBD, and now that that has been solved, I am quite pleased with my current situation. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 (edited) On the topic of munchkins, munchkin cats are absolutely adorable. This post was originally on topic with talking about black knight (best class ) but then the post above was posted so... Topic lost! Edited April 11, 2015 by Pyrovisionary Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 On the topic of munchkins, munchkin cats are absolutely adorable. Someone called for a munchkin cat black knight? Yes, I know it's not actually a munchkin cat but it's still a cat. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I'm seriously thinking that Lind should adopt a cat. Didn't someone have a fly that could do things once? Could it do anything beyond RP? I believe it was called "Megabloks"wing, or something in that direction.... Quote
Palathadric Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 It was Jeaux, I believe. And where did he go off to? Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 It was Jeaux, I believe. And where did he go off to? Thanks - It looks like he picked it up on #Quest 74.Megablokswing (fly familiar; causes confused to one opponent whenever used) He was a Ranger when he picked it up, so it's not an Evocation. "Familiar" doesn't appear anywhere on the Ranger sheet, so it's basically the same thing as "pet". Anyone hosting any Hovel quests sometime soon? I think a hunt for a cat to adopt may be in Lind's future... Quote

I do not know if it important but, I was going to be a transformed cat at the start. But then "sandy" that was not a good idea. Here is a picture of what I was gong to be. Quote

I hope it's not the same reasons this one guy had, who quit the game because magic was against his religion. He somehow realized it only after he had signed into the game... I do not know if it important but, I was going to be a transformed cat at the start. But then "sandy" that was not a good idea. I still stand by those words. And Man-Bat started out as a human, from the 90's cartoons. @ Sandy - Since an "octopus" was mention I am thinking they could swing many swords. I am thinking others creatures could swing a blade. Enceladus Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Can someone please explain to me why there are so many hunter npcs out there? Seriously, hunters are by far the most common class out of all npcs Off the top of my head you have orokai from the fearsome four, the demon huntress from quest 85, cmps demonic hunter Soryx and now cutcobras goblin hunter rhyszicz It is it their special or something? Zepher Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 I think it just makes sense to have them wandering around. Quote
