Sandy Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 Raccoons, opossums, Squirrels, Thumbs, thumbs and proto-thumbs. Okay, so certain animals can hold onto something. Point taken. Despite Zepher's cool "forest friend Heroica" setting, all player characters still need to be minifigure-based just to keep everyone on at least some common ground. Can someone please explain to me why there are so many hunter npcs out there? Seriously, hunters are by far the most common class out of all npcs It's a coincidence, that's all. No NRA conspiracy behind it. Zepher is right, at least what comes to my hunter NPCs - they prowl, so it is easy to explain their presence just about anywhere. Quote

Sandy Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 Asphalt, posting images as large as the one with Rocket Raccoons is against the site's guidelines. It can seriously hamper down browsing for people with less speedier connections. Quote
Asphalt Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Sorry I though I had downsized it. took care of it. Quote

Still not convinced though....it's downright suspicious! Quote
StickFig Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 It's a coincidence, that's all. No NRA conspiracy behind it. The Second Amendment has nothing to do with huntin', - it's about giving hand cannons to grizzlies! Quote
Asphalt Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 No no no, that is the right to arm bears. A completely different piece of legislature. Quote
Zepher Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Damn CMP, your battles look great. And I love it when Atramor talks about Boomingham. We'll get to the end of a family quest one of these days - once Nyx is back! Purpearl, I don't think you're doing it on purpose, but Zelphie had a habit of polishing that staff all the time. I love that Purpearl has accidentally taken it up, because they're characters who remind me a lot of each other! Quote
CMP Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I have to say CMP, I'm loving #129 already . So cool to have the Heroes go back to Jolly Roger's Grotto. Damn CMP, your battles look great. Glad to see it's being enjoyed so far. Hopefully the exploration aspect goes over well despite the fact that it has already been thoroughly explored once before. And I love it when Atramor talks about Boomingham. We'll get to the end of a family quest one of these days - once Nyx is back! I sure as hell hope so, I've always loved that party dynamic. Quote

JimBee Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I just realized that Carly Swift from Quest #124 was one of the people in the Hovels that the heroes encountered in #44. Very cool connection, Sandy. Quote

Very cool connection, Sandy. That was actually Flipz's idea - he created Carly Swift as an NPC for the Theater topic. Quote
Zepher Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Also, is such a shame quest #21 didn't run. Boomers, Nyx and Nerwen... I know it. It's been a long time, actually, since Nerwen and Boomingham got a chance to quest together as well. We'll have to remedy that... if I ever stop hosting you instead. Quote

I love that Purpearl has accidentally taken it up, because they're characters who remind me a lot of each other! ...but the fey powers dwelling inside those creations led to unexpected consequences. I haven't thought about this before, but I'm glad it happened. Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 (edited) Just as a general note, if there's anything folks have been thinking about including in future quests concerning Dwarves and would potentially like some of it brought up in Quest 132, feel free to PM me. Enceladus Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I'm loving the current conversation in the hall over Arthur-quite an interesting read. I never realised he had such a divisive legacy, amongst the heroes Quote
K-Nut Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I think it's reallly because the people in the hall have all had a significant relationship with him. Get Nyx, Ellaria, and Boomingham talking about Atramor leaving, and you'd probably have the same effect. Quote
Asphalt Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Hmm, I just realized there might not be any low level characters available to sign up for my quest. Quote
KotZ Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Hmm, I just realized there might not be any low level characters available to sign up for my quest. "Speed it up a little!" - I Love Lucy. Or maybe not speed, but increase difficulty. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Hmm, I just realized there might not be any low level characters available to sign up for my quest. There's Gut's new Death Mage character, and Cryos's character - and #128 should be finishing up soon as well(I'm presuming). "Speed it up a little!" - I Love Lucy. Or maybe not speed, but increase difficulty. I'd vote against this very strongly. #131 was originally made for bottom leveled heroes, and, well, I'll simply say there have been "problems" with the re-tooling. Quote

I suppose your right but it's just funny how Lind thinks that Althior is talking about someone different, such is the range of opinions on Arthur Quote
