Poison Ivy Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 First timers luck. I made myself miss. We'll just see about that, now won't we? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Just curious, will the arena managers replace the mead, like they do with lost health and ether? Or are single use items used up, and not reset? They're used up. On which note I have to ask, why do you guys want to use Mead? It's not like this one win in the Arena will get you much. Quote

TheBoyWonder Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I just wanted to try it. I might buy Alisha one though, to replace the one she lost. Quote
Tanma Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) This is already the most embarrassing battle of Leo's life, I assume. He is level 13.5, he has a SP: 5 shield and a WP: 6 weapon with ice powers, and he still has failed to damage a level one barbarian. Worse, she even had time to get a drink in. Yeah she has a WP: 7 fire sword and she hasn't harmed him either, but she is still a rookie. And this is two round in! Edit: looks like I missed the third round. First blood has gone to the barbarian, and Leo still hasn't landed a hit. Either the die is loaded, Leo is...not the best fighter, or Alisha is the greatest fighter this hall has yet seen. TheBoyWonder Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Not my fault the dice rolls have nearly all been special damage. Quote

Tanma Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) Think again, he just took damage. I think Alisha might just "Nur" this fight. Nur: verb Meaning 1: to redeem a past failure through an awesome victory Meaning 2: to win a battle that is almost entirely out of your favor Origin: Named for the Mage hero in Quest 10 who won an impossible battle against mirror clones of his entire party. Previously he and his earlier party had lost Quest 6 (on purpose, but Heroixa doesn't know that) Edited February 1, 2012 by Tanma Quote

TheBoyWonder Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I wouldn't call having a WP7 sword that is on fire out of her favour. Quote
Tanma Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I wouldn't call having a WP7 sword that is on fire out of her favour. I did say almost entirely. I do feel you pain though, De'kra spent Quest 4 being useless in a fight. Aside from his high number of misses, he was the only hero in that quest to die. Sure he got more helpful near the end, but still. So yeah, I can relate. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 This battle is hilarious. Four Rounds in, and only 2 Damage has been dealt, total. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I got to do it soon. Here's to a critical while I am covered by sentinel. Quote
Poison Ivy Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 This battle is hilarious. Four Rounds in, and only 2 Damage has been dealt, total. I know. This could go on for a few days. Afterwards Alisha will probably be able to eat a Brobric Elf horse! Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I will buy you the horse as a gift of my love. Quote

I might as well sit aside in my current Quest. All I've done is taking hits and missing attacks. I haven't got a single hit in this last battle ! The dice are definitely against me on this one. Quote
Tanma Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 This is a Public Heroica Announcememt. Greetings Heroes in training, I De'kra. I here to talk to you about serious problem. Every year more and more heroes rely on mead. Mead is strong liquid that dulls senses and excites mind. While mead might give heroes greater strength for short time, it really give heroes slow-minds. Heroes who take mead tend to react slower and make more mistakes in battle. In recent study, it was find that hero with mead become as weak as level one barbarian, if not more. Five out of six alchemists agree that mead might give brief rush, but it ultimately hurt hero in long run.Anyone have reason why drink mead smart? Quote

TheBoyWonder Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 That is hilarious. But I do not think mead is the problem. It was all the wine had drunk earlier. Quote

Tamamono Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I have to agree with Doc here, this battle is hilarious. What Leo's doing is pretty akin to a courting ritual, like male peacocks puffing up their plumage to impress the females. I just wanted to try it. I might buy Alisha one though, to replace the one she lost. Alisha doesn't seem to be the kind of girl you can just by buying her things. You'll probably have to kick her megablocks to impress her. This is a Public Heroica Announcememt. That is hilarious. But I do not think mead is the problem. It was all the wine had drunk earlier. Why, what did the wine drink? Quote
Poison Ivy Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 The wine had drunk mead. And the Mead had drunk Rum! Triple alchohol for Leo! Yays! Quote
Tamamono Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) The wine had drunk mead. So the wine drinks the mead, and then the heroes drink the wine? Wouldn't it be easier to just drink the mead in the first place? And the Mead had drunk Rum! And the rum had drank club soda. Edited February 1, 2012 by Tamamono Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Or perhaps Alisha poisoned me when she bumbled into me at the hall. Quote
