The Chosen Minifigure Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I just had a thought: how does Earth magic work? See, a the other elements have an obvious way of using them, for example Ice would bring down the temperature to freezing level and below, while fire would do the opposite. Light would increase to blinding, and potentially painful levels, and darkness would be like the typical movie darkness; envoping before solidifying. But Earth? How would it work? It seems sorta odd to have it as... Well... Shapes coming out of the ground and attacking the targets feet... Quote

The Chosen Minifigure Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I'll get to that after I finish Netflix. See you in 5 or so years... Quote

Have you ever been thrown with a rock? Or tripped and hit your head on the ground? It HURTS! It would have to be pretty damn windy for it to hurt anyone, and I'm not even starting with how light or darkness cause damage... Quote
KotZ Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Deep in the feels. So would light damage be from the hurt of exposing those deep feels? Quote
UsernameMDM Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 So would light damage be from the hurt of exposing those deep feels? No, it just gives you gas. Quote

(I know he is probably just joking around.)Isn't their a thing called "Dark Energy", so wouldn't that be a "Dark Attack"? Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Out of curiosity, and in no way related to the events occurring in the Quest I'm in, but can a Druid's nurture remove effects of starvation? I swear, Sylph's not a pacifist. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Asphalt Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 (edited) yeah come on man, humans only protect the cute animals. We eat the ugly ones. (joking there) Edited May 9, 2015 by Asphalt Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 (edited) yeah come on man, humans only protect the cute animals. We eat the ugly ones. (joking there) My compunctions here are mostly RP. Sylph values Animal lives very highly, but will kill them if he must. The decision is made harder for him since the birds are willing to compromise. What I personally would like to see happen is we just kill them and take their stuff, but Sylph is not as much of a munchkin as I when it comes to nature. Sylph would be willing to use most of his ether to heal these animals so that he can get to the bottom of this break in the links of the food chain, if that's an option... but if they just attack without bargaining, then He'll respond in like. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 9, 2015 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Asphalt Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I know man I was just kidding. Vindsval is on the other side of that coin. He would destroy the "attacking creatures" in a heartbeat. If not to protect the naive scholars than certainly to keep them from getting to the boy. He would kill himself before seeing a child hurt. I am more than happy to let Slyph play his hand with the animals. I think it would be fun to see Vindsval try to befriend one of the birds too, id one decided to fight with them. I like the image of a bird perched on one of his shoulder spikes, squeaking away, with Slyph laughing at what the bird is saying. On a side note, the word Munchkin has come to carry a whole lot of baggage around here. Quote

Asphalt Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 A new race of peoples have emerged onto the scene. They are the munchkins. Hailing from the destroyed city of Muncie (I don't think the one in Indiana) they are such accomplished scholars that they are nearly omniscient of all of the goings on on the entire planet, AND BEYOND. Endgame Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 The animals here in #134 are completely innocent, and until further notice, there is nothing strange or out of the ordinary causing extreme disturbing the food chain. Quote
