Zepher Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015  I'm going to keep trying to race ahead of the others and get a day or two ahead of them. Boomingham will become a seer. Quote
Sandy Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 What if Heckz decides to camp out after this battle? This quest is going to make the fabric of time weep. My point exactly. That's why I'm stalling with Sarge and Eric - because it might just be that Heckz and Peri are behind a bush near them. Quote
CMP Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Lord Lawrence "Biff" Boomingham. That would be the best plot twist ever. Heroican Foreigner Gambles his Way to the Throne, all Hail King Boomingham! Quote
Endgame Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Boomingham took some timey wimey stuff back home with him from The Regret's house. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Happy Mother's Day! Something something scheduling. I deleted it accidentally... Expect to get to wild animal punchery today. No worries! It was hardly any wait at all. Also I needed to go back over basic battle rules anyways. Also, for the last time, The regret is deader than dead. If someone wants to make a quest with more temporal shenanigans, go ahead, but I'm done with that character The Regret may be dead, but he will live on in our (or at least my) collective memories for eternity. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Yzalirk Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I just feel the need to say that I'm really liking how Quest #132 is! Yes, I've been reading it since I figured it would be about Dwarves! The Dwarf with cog-work parts, Chief Kulbin (correct me if I'm wrong), is a really neat character and I really find him inspirational. I do like the idea of cog-works and would like to hear more of it! Overall, he is a perfect example of a Dwarf infused with Science Fictional-Fantasy elements and I really do like that, good job Waterbrick! Quote
Asphalt Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 hmm just offered up Vindsval as a meat shield in an Endgame battle. Permadeath is off the table right? Quote
Endgame Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) Unless you want a really anticlimatic death. It's not that tough of a battle. Edited May 13, 2015 by Endgame Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 hmm just offered up Vindsval as a meat shield in an Endgame battle. Permadeath is off the table right? Did you just suggest anything is permanently dead in an Endgame quest? ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Cutcobra Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) I would say it does, if the player has been a half-elf from the beginning, and not suddenly and miraculously finding out about his elven heritage after acquiring such an item. You didn't know it, but I had been playing Pretzel as a half-elf since the beginning, just I (completely unsuspiciously) didn't tell anyone. And, of course, I just forgot to put that Heckz was a half elf from the beginning. Can't you see his blonde hair? Edited May 13, 2015 by Cutcobra Quote
samurai-turtle Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Well The Demon Germ is part ever thing. So, he gets the "befits" from every "race". Quote
Palathadric Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Well The Demon Germ is part ever thing. So, he gets the "befits" from every "race". No kidding?! Part Yeti too? Why do I feel the urge to join links with the Soul Link Chain? Quote

Palathadric Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 <Just an idea, caw! If you don't want that really pumped up looking snake get a potshot in, kill it! It's very weak...> Annienal strikes Viper A from the back row. Ha, ha! Here's to Kintobor following Endgame's advice on an Endgame quest. I'm guessing you didn't see the really secret passive special. Quote
Asphalt Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Loot: Warlen- Smelling Salts, Tonic, Vindsval Vindsval- Smelling Salts, Tonic Sylph- Smelling Salts, Potion, Viper Scale Throlar- Smelling Salts, Potion, Viper Scale Annienal- Viper Scale, Potion I strongly object to Vindsval now being Warlen's possession. At the very least I want to see what types of bonuses and damage he infers. Quote
KotZ Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I strongly object to Vindsval now being Warlen's possession. At the very least I want to see what types of bonuses and damage he infers. Probably some kind of religious-like bonus. Quote

The Chosen Minifigure Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 What happens when the single Pitchfork of Domination is "purchased"? Is it replaced with an equally OP item? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 I wouldn't say it's OP. It's a lot of work to get it. And yes, I think if I remember correctly if it was purchased, a new item would become for sale. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 I wouldn't say it's OP. It's a lot of work to get it. Agree. Too many players underestimate the difficulty of racking up 500 Glory Points. Quote
Zepher Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I just realized that Periwinkle stole a mop from the boat. Also, does anyone have any idea what the "saber tooth" does? Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I hadn't seen the imbue with scroll part I'm gonna check out the Magic shop in the slums see if I cant make the Demonic greatsword even more Overpowered. Quote
Endgame Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Damn, Scupperer is strong now. Give that to an AoE based class (cough Raider cugh) and that thing could have the entire enemy part absolutely buggered with status ailments. Quote
Zepher Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I was pretty bummed when Scuba allowed people to match its poisoned/bleeding so easily in Strivvi, because it wasn't special anymore. Now it is again. Quote
