KotZ Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I agree, Flipz had a really good way of using it, especially with how you could see it affect the quest, be it right away or a little later on during it. Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Thhe only issue I have with that handling of the trait is that, as treting it as a passive thing, it essentially became an entirely different trait altogether. If the knight initializes it and gets that PM (which Kiray might've, I could very easily be missing context) that seems like a good way to go about doing it. Also, Jesus, Zeph, was the altar boy stealing blessings from the people who were meant to be getting them or something?! Edited May 25, 2015 by Endgame Quote

Yeah, there was a lot of PMing going on, and it allowed me to play if I should reveal something or not. Kiray was able to pick up on a few nuances from different people and all. Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Watch out, guys! Expert Job Class-ready hero coming through! Nice! Does Karie have the proper rep for Minstrel, or is Harlot still on the table? Edited May 25, 2015 by Endgame Quote
Kintobor Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 No Minstrel yet. I need one more Hinckwell quest and I'll have it. I would've had it two years ago, but Dyric and Thothwick screwed me over. But... I can go Necromancer... Quote

K-Nut Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Sorrow might need one of those soon... again. Althiors probably done after this Fields run unless I find some compelling reason to keep going Necro, but Sorrow could hit him up. Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Althiors probably done after this Fields run unless I find some compelling reason to keep going Necro, but Sorrow could hit him up. As a ghost, maybe. Still not quite sure how I want to end it, I don't think Sorrow is going on any more quests... Quote
Kintobor Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 As a ghost, maybe. Still not quite sure how I want to end it, I don't think Sorrow is going on any more quests... Not even for Fellcreste? Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 We'll have to wait and see. Maybe I should just have him die randomly, and play as the first ghost in Heroica RPG. Quote

I'm more focused on terry/hosting right now. Terry has portal keys to find, and the party of 134 has to face the Elderest Elder Dragon to ever bless Uland. Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Nah, you're just going to get to the end of the quest, an he's so old you kill him in one hit. True story. Quote
Asphalt Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Well that would just be a waste. We should befriend him and send the scholars to his lair so they can record the true history of the land. Quote

Asphalt Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 ok we fight the creature forcing the elder dragon to do its bidding through some unknown elaborate means, and then befriend the creature to found the library of true history. Quote
Flipz Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Alternatively, learn its Thu'um, then kill it and absorb its soul to unlock the corresponding Shout. Then you can go to Windhelm with the Imperial Legion to kill Ulfric for Shouting High King Torygg to death. ...okay, maybe I've been playing too much Skyrim lately. Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I actually never made the connection between Skyrim dragon shouting and Lethauros having he powerful roar, that was unintentional. Quote
Palathadric Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 When I say Elder, I do not mean a fully grown dragon. I mean this son of a b*tch is so old he's called The Ancestor. He was born before dragons even learned how to breathe fire. No, he... roars. Ha! And you actually believed that Endgame was going to go a quest without featuring the Regret. Quote
Endgame Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 You missed the part where Lethauros was a dragon, and The Regret was a Progg, methinks. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 This may be slightly off-topic, but there's no better place to post it: Is anyone here interested in a game of good old-fashioned D&D on Roll20? ...actually, we could play Heroica on Roll20, couldn't we? Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) Heroic would be hard to port, and lose its Lego aesthetic so I think its best keeping it here D&D on the other hand it was built for so maybe. Edited May 26, 2015 by Pyrovisionary Quote

I would not be averse to such activities... I'm a busy person, though, so I'm not sure I could commit to a full champaign. Also, my group meets Sunday night, so that would be out of the question. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 26, 2015 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) My own group meets on Tuesday night, but they're the most unproductive imbeciles I know Maybe that has something to do with my use of Hypnotic pattern, Intimidation, persuasion and deception to get them to do what I want... Nah Nonetheless I'm quite busy over the next 3 weeks so I could join late if you want. On topic, my experiences with D&D have made me truly appreciate how much more simple Heroica is. Thank you Sandy. Edited May 26, 2015 by Pyrovisionary Quote
