Peppermint_M Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Was it too noticeable that I was posting from my Android these past few days? I went to London for a long weekend away and I was too busy to really get online. I did come in and ensure I posted if there was a new development. On the subject of development, does anyone else have long term character goals beyond 'bash stuff, get exp and items.' I have a few on the scribblepad... Quote

Well it looks like everyone has been on a surprise trip in europe! For the past 7 days, I've been posting from my Kindle, which has free internet! Very usefull, though I can't see images. I too have plans for my character. I set him/her up with several mysteries which I plan to delve into as he/she develops. In addition my character has a goal. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
UsernameMDM Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 On the subject of development, does anyone else have long term character goals beyond 'bash stuff, get exp and items.' I have a few on the scribblepad... As far as looks go, I plan on updating my avatar every 5 or so levels. Being a level 1 knight, my character does not have the best armor or weapons, but as he gains levels and experience in battle, his torso, legs, headgear and even face will change. Eventually he will have an armor piece and helmet. Now I just need to be selected to do some quest... Quote

Sandy Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 I am more than happy to host personal quests for well-accomplished characters, if you want to delve deeper into your characters' personal stories. But don't expect one until you're at least Level 30! Quote
Quarryman Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 The Library is now open! It contains much of the information some of you have hungered for ever since the game launched, so go check it out. Neat! And I love the fact that the librarian is a monkey, lovely reference. Quote
WhiteFang Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I am totally amazed by the tons of detailed information inside the library. Loving it! Thank you Sandy. You are doing very good to put this altogether. Quote
K-Nut Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 (edited) Aww. But Cronk is cursed with tiny Orc bladder... Cronk will try to hold it. I think my Bladder burst when I read this. I just have to say Sandy that this is a great game so far. I find myself waking up every morning, logging on and checking any posts I may have missed. It is so much fun! Thanks for putting in a lot of time and effort so that we can enjoy this. Besides, I've gotten to fight An armchair, books, and evil jester hat wearing evil turkeys! What more can you want? Sandy Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 So as my Lightning spell will potentially cause double damage to all enemies in the event of an overflow, I shall cast Lightning on Evil Flying Turkey B from the back row. Actually, the Mage's Magic Burst was one of the things changed after the test quest. If you check the rules, the Shield-skill involves a random element from those available to you, so you cannot control what kind of a burst you get, sorry. I'm thinking of implementing a few more changes to some of the job classes after these quests, but I'll inform about the changes if they occur. Quote

No, I absolutely remember it now from before, I had just forgotten! However, using a gem that's effective against all enemies is still a good strategy in case one's original target is defeated first, if nothing else I suppose. Quote
Ro87n Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Woah! Only found out about this today. This is an amazing idea. Wonderful. Hope you guys have alot of fun Quote
Bricksandparts Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I posted this in the library and I guess I'll post it here: I have made some LDD files! Heroica Hall (with added parts(WIP)) http://www.brickshel..._hall_pt._2.lxf Heroes Gallery http://www.brickshel...oes_gallery.lxf Library: http://www.brickshel...l_library_2.lxf It did take quite a while to make these replicas, but here is a pretty close one! Dannylonglegs Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Hey, I've got a question regarding the events which occured during the battle between my party and the books, and the Cleric class. I was effected by the special attack of a flying book; Bad education, and suffered the loss of my ether, however, as a cleric, shouldn't my Spirit Guardian prevent that from happening? Or does that only work when I say I want to heal someone? Thanks! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

I have a few things going on tomorrow and Friday, and then I'll be basically silent on Saturday. I should be able to post late Saturday night. And after that I'll be a little less active than I have been because I finally go back to work after an extensive family issue. Quote

Also, after rereading the feature, it looks like the answer to my last question; "Or does that only work when I say I want to heal someone?" is no. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited August 31, 2011 by Dannylonglegs Quote

"Guess what? I'm a Cleric!" Nah, if I ever evolve into the next level, I'll make myself one. Though it'll be useless... Edited August 31, 2011 by K-nut Quote

Zepher Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Thank you for putting up with me! When I said internet was expensive, I meant it. I’ll see you all again Sunday, when I’ll be returned to fighting form! Quote

Sandy Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 I have to apologize the delays in the quests, I've been quite busy with life for the last couple of days. Things should get easier tomorrow (yay for a weekend!). Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Out of curiosity, did Direwolf Pups always exist, or were they added in mid-battle? Quote
Sandy Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 Out of curiosity, did Direwolf Pups always exist, or were they added in mid-battle? I'm the QM, I can do what I want. Seriously though, I didn't feel the need to drag the battle on for too long, since the field is already ruined. But it's not over quite yet! Quote
