Tamamono Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I still don't get why K-Nut is so touchy about that. Quote
K-Nut Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Sorry! Don't hurt me K-Nut! I really don't know why either. Quote
Tanma Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Fair point. My team mates on quest 4 did call me Sir Leo the sentinel. I don't remember that. But then again, no one else seems to remember De'kra cosplaying as Ling-Greed during Halloween, so I might just have loose ties to reality. Okay so the battle finally heated up. The sad part is that even after taking three fourth's of her health, Leo has still lost more health than his opponent. Quote
CMP Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I still don't get why K-Nut is so touchy about that. Tell me about it. I don't think anyone's even bothered to type out my entire screen name once. It's 'Pie', 'CMP', or 'CMPOD'. I'll have to shorten it soon... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I have a question, how much do the other heroes know about what happened on quests? Maybe it is a fun idea to have one hero write a report on the quest, which can of course leave the embarassing parts out, or the parts that they don't want others to know, what do people think? Quote

I don't know, because there is already an Archive in the Library that tells about past Quests, so a Hero writing about it would be more complicated and a little more unnecesary than the system there already is. Maybe it is a fun idea to have one hero write a report on the quest, which can of course leave the embarassing parts out, or the parts that they don't want others to know, what do people think? Well Haldor didn't exactly want Jess to hear of what happened with the gnome in Quest: #12! And Althior almost told her! Quote

I've got to agree with Nihilus here. Plus, it would be difficult to remember just how much your character 'knows' about each quest if you were following the thread. Quote

Maybe it is a fun idea to have one hero write a report on the quest, which can of course leave the embarassing parts out, or the parts that they don't want others to know, what do people think? Well the quest records are held in the library, so the quests are common knowledge. However I agree that heroes might omit certain things. For instance, when I had De'kra looking through Quest 6's records the reports stated that the outlaw escaped and the quest failed. However anyone who reads Quest 6 knows that the heroes there let the outlaw escape and lied about it. Quote

Darth Nihilus Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 'CMPOD' Collectible Minifigure POD! Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 The Library only states the assignment, for example, if you read it for quest 4, for example, you know next to nothing. My idea was that an IC summary would be an easy way to tell people the basic things what happened, without having to read through an entire quest thread to get an idea. Quote
Tamamono Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Wow, Alisha's really holding her own against Leo. It would be hilarious if she beat him after that hit he gave her! Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Althior didn't actually know what happened. Well he threatened to tell her if Haldor didn't help him chat up Alexis! He nearly got a swift right hook! Quote
K-Nut Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 It's not even that, it's a capitalization error! Capitalization, Spelling, Tomato Potahto! Quote

Brickdoctor Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 At least yours isn't impossible to spell! I've been called Tamino, Tamano, CT, Tammo, and Tammy Tomato-Face (). You got rid of the 'Captain', that's a good start. Pie, maybe you should change your name to Pie. 'Course, the last time you tried changing your name, you made it longer. I think the worst I've been called (outside of a mafia game that had Hinck in it) is BD. I don't really like that, because I always interpret it as 'Battle Droid'. And battle droids were an epic failure in my least favorite Star Wars movie of the six. Quote

Tamamono Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Capitalization, Spelling, Tomato Potahto! There is a difference you know. Now I have to let Katie log back on so we can see how it goes! You two might as well bookmark the login page, because I have a feeling you'll end up trading off the computer like a hot potato to keep up with this Heroica thing. You got rid of the 'Captain', that's a good start. Thanks! Next year I'll be Tammo, then Tam, and eventually, just T! And as far as nicknames go, I think Doc has the best one with Mustafa Boner-head.
