Kintobor Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) Until then, you may as well loan it to someone who can actually access the class and fly with those wings. No way, are you freakin' kiddin' me? Do you know how much people pay for Bright Polishes these days? Everyone can use the item, though, so there's no reason to go loaning out out. Stop trying to snag my shinies. I actually believe that was a result of Guts and Docken inflating the prices of Grating Stones. They paid so much for them that they themselves set the standard price for it. Supply and demand. Also, if Guts and Docken want to pay premium for items, I'm a-okay with that. That's their choice. I could be wrong, but I remembered whenever they were dropped that they were the two that would speak up about buying them off people the most. Sorry if I've remembered wrong, I don't mean to point fingers. Edited June 9, 2015 by Kintobor Quote
Palathadric Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 I'm sure Flipz would want it for Arthur if he was making a comeback. Bright Polishes are worth much more than Grating Stones in my opinion because you can pay a price to upgrade without a Grating Stone, but there's no way to upgrade an artifact without polish...oddly. Out quest should round up soon if you want to talk business. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 At some point Grating Stones were pretty rare, so I really wanted them. Bright Polish is more Docken's territory. You also might be thinking of mithril shards. I really don't know if I can afford to get any more expensive items from other heroes, as my main money making thing is now gone again. I should see about getting some overkill gloves, maybe... I love how heroes always have the exact amount of money in a bag to buy what they need. That's the part that you point out, not that some heroes are literally carrying boatloads of gold around. Has anyone else here played around with Lego Worlds? I've spend some time in it, and barring the fact you can't (yet?) pose minifigures (other than the player character), I reckon it's a pretty great tool as a replacement for ldd. You can also import ldd builds into it, although at the moment only bricks, plates, tiles and slopes are supported, which greatly limits what you can do. I think it has a lot of potential, also for Heroica. Quote
Emjajoas Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 I've been low-key following it, and I'm definitely going to be investing in it after a few more patches/features are added. It certainly looks amazing and like it has a lot of potential-- especially for building. It seems jam-packed with a lot of charm and I can't wait to see where they go with it. Quote

And since a couple people have asked: at this point I'm more than willing to make a pretty much permanent arrangement involving the Overkill Gloves: you keep 'em as long as you want, I get 1/4 of the earnings. Your "bid" for this arrangement is basically your build/damage output--i.e. convince me you're the best option for making cash with them. I'm also going to be selling off a lot of my other unused Artifacts and gear--it empties my overcomplicated inventory and fills my wallet. You see something you like, make me an offer--I'll consider selling just about anything short of the Shadeaux Cloak. Quote
Endgame Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) Why did I make those gloves... Also, thanks, Swils! Lethauros is totally just White Fatalis, but you probably guessed that. Jin is based on Zinogre from the same series, and his name is the abbreviation of his Japanese one (Jinouga) Edited June 9, 2015 by Endgame Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) Endgame does actually know Sylph's backstory... he knows more about Sylph than anyone but myself, infact, due to private talks with the Regret. Flipz comes in a close second. He pays way too much attention to things... ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited June 9, 2015 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Endgame Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Sylph takes off his helmet, and reveals Savato's helemt... Proving they are in fact one and the same!! /plottwist Quote

Zepher Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Totally off topic and a little self-indulgent, but I don't recall if I ever pointed out this Easter Egg (if I already have, please forgive me). (I'm re-reading a lot of my quests as I finally start to draft my "finale" quest). This is for people of Quest 102. There were two hints that Midge and Malty were the same person. In the opening shot of the foes who kidnapped Aventine, you see a Mopag wearing a mix of their clothing and capes and what not. But, a less obvious one was in Quest 107. In the very opening when Ella is having her vision, on the fourth image down with The Master of Regret and Marcellus, in the background you see Malty and Midge talking together. That's because they're in fact the same person. Quote
Zepher Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Did you know that I also happen to be a huge fan of syntax based jokes. They're never funny, but I alway think they are. Quote
Flipz Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Scrolls? And your lens? On the table. I guess I should mention, I'm mostly trying to get rid of my more complicated Artifacts, especially those with long descriptions--the more complex it is, the more willing I'll be to sell it. Also keep in mind that I do want to have enough Artifacts to fill all of my slots at Level 50, if Arthur gets there--I'm more likely to sell off my Accessories and Gloves and Backwear than I am my Headwear, for example. Asphalt Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Vindsval would still be interested in that scroll of poisoning if there two of them ever meet up. Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Man Endgame, who's left to sell that Viper Scale to? Maybe it's for Fabian, Portia, Anwyl or Dain? Or Sorrow! Quote
Endgame Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Maybe it was the guy with a Viper Bow in his inventory? Quote

Endgame Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Final loot update and stinger is posted! The future is covered in a dark fog... Please share your thoughts in the QM Lounge, 134ers - I hope you enjoyed. Quote
Kintobor Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 (edited) Chosen Minifigure, your character icon is massive in your signature. If you could please change the size, even by a little bit, it'd be appreciated. EDIT: Thanks, mate! Edited June 12, 2015 by Kintobor Quote
