Palathadric Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 OOC:Palathadric, I don't know if you noticed with all the post flying around, but Na'im made some purchasing requests (under the 15% discount Pretezel was offering) a few posts back-would it be ok if you could make them before I leave for quest 136? I swear my reason for not responding is entirely because of the fact that I did not see your post and entirely not because of the fact that Pretzel is no fan of Fenarians. Quote

No worries But I thourght Pretzel dosen't lilke Fenarains and most other species in the first place? Quite ironic really, that it should happen to me of all players Quote

Quite ironic really, that it should happen to me of all players Surprisingly enough, he doesn't have a particularly bad relationship with Namyrra. They did some business if I can recall and I think we were on a Fields trip together, but that may just be wishful thinking. Quote

You know, I think I need a list of all the species Pretzel likes and dislikes now Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 The Heroes could see two short statured Ancients idling around and two burly-axe-wielding men grumbling at the back. Seeing the Heroes approach the clearing, one of the Ancients steps forward. Um...are these supposed to be of the same race as The Ancient, from #131? Quote
Purpearljellyblob Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Um...are these supposed to be of the same race as The Ancient, from #131? I didn't really keep track of #131, but if you mean Ancient type, it means they are monsters that have lived for ages and not weak to any element. Quote
Sandy Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 I didn't really keep track of #131, but if you mean Ancient type, it means they are monsters that have lived for ages and not weak to any element. I think Lind was trying to ask you what kind of a race are the Ancients in your quest, since they are previously unseen in this game - except for Lind's character from Quest#131 that was called "The Ancient" (who I believe was a vampire Fenarian). "Ancient" as an enemy type does not refer to a specific species of monster, after all, it's just a general term. Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Weapons; Elven Sword (WP; 5, longsword), Mopagsaber (WP; 12, Ice elemental longsword), Darker Etherial Deck (WP; 7, throwing weapon. Belongs to Lind Whisperer).Psst - Lind snatched those back in the Hall. Quote
Asphalt Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Psst - Lind snatched those back in the Hall. Ahh but you can't steal from other players. I don't remember the other character agreeing to hand them to Lind. Quote
Zepher Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 But they belong to him. Someone can't hold someone else's items at ransom. Quote
Duvors Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I've just removed them from my stats, no worries. But they belong to him. Someone can't hold someone else's items at ransom. I prefer to call it 'inventive character interaction.' Quote
Cutcobra Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) I just got a nice idea. How about, for Halloween, someone makes a quest regarding something mysterious or scary in Eubric (cough cough Red Assassins) and then the QM acts like there's a problem or a delay, then they make it seem like something bad is happening and the Quest is "taken over" by the main villain. I don't think that would work. In a video game yes, but not in a text-based forum RPG. Quote
Zepher Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Can someone refresh my memory as to which quest had the DAMN party? I can't remember who was on it. Also, apologies, 127. I have a lot of thoughts to share, and have been really busy lately (and had my attention stolen slightly by AG ) but I will get that Quest feedback up shortly! Quote
CMP Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Can someone refresh my memory as to which quest had the DAMN party? I can't remember who was on it. #112. Quote
CMP Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Great quest. Great party. Doesn't get any DAMN better. Quote
swils Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Well played, Endgame, having Sorrow wanting to go on your own quest, haha. Lends nicely to the separation between player/character. Quote
Endgame Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Heroes don't really make enough references to the questboard, I find. He'd take city of rotten corpses over fighting an overgrown lizard any day, though. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 When did Thormanil get back?! I thought he was on a quest? Quote
swils Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 ~ Successfully completed Quest#118: The Tale of the Stolen Spirits at Level 46 on the 10th of February, 2015 Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 For some reason I thought he was off on #129... Now I wish I'd PM'd you about your mask, instead of dressing like this... Quote
Kintobor Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 I find it a little awkward that after talking with Sorrow for so long as Karie I now have to reintroduce myself to the character as Annienal. Only in roleplaying games, man. Quote
swils Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Nope, just been biding my time for this particular quest ever since Sandy teased it earlier this year. And yeah, that would have made for a much more fluid transition/lead in to your costume than simply... having it happen, heh. See quest asking for elves, try to get mask, get told no, try the next best thing. Quote
