Endgame Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) Must...fight...temptation...to see what happens...if...barnacle...eaten...raw... +10 Power! ...+1 Salmonella... You're free to do it, but don't say I didn't warn you. Edited July 9, 2015 by Endgame Quote
K-Nut Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 +10 Power! ...+1 Salmonella... How long until Salmonella becomes an actual effect? Vaccination - Grants permanent Immunity to Salmonella Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) How long until Salmonella becomes an actual effect? Probably just about the same time that someone tries eating a Barnacle - someone else besides Lind Flynn. Edited July 9, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote
Flipz Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Again, the Healing Staff can't be used outside of battle. It's only usable during combat. Quote

Flipz Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Maybe Warlen could attack himself? #residentmunchkin He can only do that in combat. Seriously, it's come up before. Quote
K-Nut Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Maybe Warlen could attack himself? I find it ironic, because I'm pretty sure that Flipz had Arthur hit himself with it during Quest #17. Quote
samurai-turtle Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Maybe they are talking about a different kind of "Healing Staff". Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Maybe they are talking about a different kind of "Healing Staff". If that means what I think it's supposed to mean, I think I don't want to know what that means. Quote
K-Nut Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Maybe they are talking about a different kind of "Healing Staff". And I thought Jinnifer was dirty. Quote
K-Nut Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Quest #138: The Real Quest #69 I'm truly offended #69 didn't hand out the Harlot class. Quote
Flipz Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I find it ironic, because I'm pretty sure that Flipz had Arthur hit himself with it during Quest #17. Actually, Althior hit Arthur with it, and that's what brought up the whole discussion. Quote
K-Nut Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Actually, Althior hit Arthur with it, and that's what brought up the whole discussion. I remember someone comically attempting to hit themselves over the head with it. Since it was that early in the game, it could have been either of us. Quote

K-Nut Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I think that was Nyx, actually--back when Battle Mage SHIELD dealt damage to the heal target. That was probably it. I had just assumed that Althior and Arthur were the only two dumb smart enough to try to whack themselves. Quote
Palathadric Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Just for the sake of clarity, when I use mobs in the Fields, I will be using both the "free hit while outnumbering" and "Assassination kills only one of the Mob" rules, both for challenge and for consistency. Then you'd roll for each member of the mob? That's a lot of rolls. Quest #138: The Real Quest #69 Now I'm trying to recall what was with #69. Maybe I need to reread it. Quote
K-Nut Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 138 is 69 x 2... I'm sorry, but that can not be a coincidence. Make amends for CMP's mistake; hand out Harlot! Quote
Endgame Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 The saddest part is, handing out Harlot was planned from the beginning. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 The saddest part is, handing out Harlot was planned from the beginning. We're getting Harlot handed out? Quote
K-Nut Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 The saddest part is, handing out Harlot was planned from the beginning. Curiouser and curiouser indeed... Quote
