Purpearl's new getup is sweet.
Purpearljellyblob's figures always look great. I don't think I can remember seeing a less than fantastic one. :sweet:

Thanks guys. I figured Purpearl's avatar needs to be more in line with her current equipment.

Is there a page about the Crimson Crown on the wiki? I tried searching for it, but I came up empty-handed...

I don't think so yet, sorry. But the beginning of Quest #140 will offer the most complete look at them so far anyway.

"*cough* overcompensating *cough*"

"The fact that you are less tolerable than someone else isn't praise, Munchkin."

Warlen walked right up and slapped Lind in the face.

"I think I speak for all of us when I tell you to SHUT UP!"

...I think Warlen officially just became best pony my new favorite character.

Who did I beat?

Also, Lind! Gaze upon Flipz' title and be jealous!

:roflmao: I think you beat everyone at once with that slap and put yourself in the lead by a good few miles.

I'm still loving when Vind picked him up and threw him in the corner.

We need to have a Google Olegaia. For some reason I thought that Duplovia was south of Baltarok, until the location of Pantana set me straight.

On a similar note, could we have the maps of Baltarok, Babaleth, and Fenario/Spesialia added to the Library (since we already have the map of Dastan there)?

Considering that paint.net is pretty much photoshop by a different name, yes.

Seriously, though, using MS Word must be excruciating, no?

Not at all, honestly. I thought I was screwed when my Photoshop trial ran out following Quest 51. But it's entirely serviceable once you get to using it a lot. Background removal is not really as accurate as Photoshop's, I suppose.

I would encourage you to download paint.net, because it's A) Free and B) If you can pull off stuff like that in Word, I'd love to see what you can do with a bigger set of tools.

GIMP all the way. Free forever, and equal to or better than the last version of Photoshop I used. It's incredibly powerful but still simple to use.

Does MS word let you simulate SPACE-CLOTH?

(Whether or not it is cloth from space or cloth made out of space is debatable.)

SPACE-CLOTH, SPACE-CLOTH, SPACE-CLOTH?

If they're drops, and they're from space, or at least some foreign planet...

This. So much this.

Blender can do some pretty impressive results when you have le717's(Did I spell that right?) LDraw Importer installed:

15703008823_92a1e51666_c.jpg

- But it will take forever to build everything in LDraw*. :hmpf_bad:

*I believe, though, there may be a newish way of importing LDD into Blender. But then you miss out on the huge pallet of decorations that LDraw has - especially the lovely selection of Castle torsos.

Awhile back, I made a very rough model of Olegia from space:

olegiarender.jpg(Like I said, rough. A little bit of work would have made it a lot neater. This was a direct application of the Heroica map, with the only changes being a "paint-can spill" of blue over the majority of the oceans. (Pretend the white patches are sea-foam.) But sub-divide* many, many times, neaten the maps up, add some clouds, etc... You can see the potential.)

*I will point out, in its defense, the blockyness adds to the "LEGO-ish-ness" of it.:laugh:

QM Note: I have to go for about 2-3 hours, so you'll get a proper update then, but it is currently morning (approx. 6-7 AM), overcast skies, with a 33% chance of precipitation.

Note to self: Buy umbrella.
