Lind Whisperer Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I thought I was doing an okay job of hosting 138. Until that puzzle. Hey, you can make it up to use by having there be plenty of "personal effects" for us to transport back to the Hall. Quote

At the very least it gave me the chance to reveal a bit more of Jinnipher's barbaric side. I was considering roleplaying her not being able to solve the puzzle because of her lack of patience, especially for something finicky like that. Quote

Endgame Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Sandy, the crystal titan has about 4000 health less then it should, no? Does every gem give it plus 10 HP or plus 100? Edited July 27, 2015 by Endgame Quote

Haha, I was wondering what was wrong with my maths, as I thought the enemy should have been more intimidating... Thanks for pointing it out! Quote
JimBee Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 How was Hoke able to start a second character? You need fifteen completed quests. Quote
K-Nut Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) How was Hoke able to start a second character? You need fifteen completed quests. I was sure that he had fifteen quests already, but evidently not. I know that a while back MDM thought that 1 hosted quest = 3 quest participated in, but I'm positive that Sandy said no to that. Or a combination. 1 hosted quest = 3 participated quests. Nope, that is not how it works. Edited July 27, 2015 by K-Nut Quote

JimBee Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I didn't mean to call you out, MDM, I just wanted to make sure that it was the actual rule. Although it's been brought up before and the rules page hasn't been changed, so there shouldn't be confusion about it anymore. Quote

Kintobor Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Although, what's going to happen to all of Blix's items that were given to him by Hoke? I say we divide it amongst the characters in the hall when he poofs out of existence. Quote

Flipz Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Sandy, is that Crystal Shield supposed to have such a low SP? Even with all gems imbued in it, it would only have SP:9, which isn't very high as far as actual shields go. Quote
Palathadric Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Boy Wonder is eating sand already." No, no "Boy Wonder" is the player. "Lycan" is the character. Quote

Well, I considered giving it 2 or 3 SP, but I didn't want another "OP, plz nerf" discussion. It does seem weak in retrospect... I'll just remove the restriction about no upgrades otherwise, so if someone wants to invest a load of money and time, they can get a friggin awesome shield. Quote

Sandy Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 I was also under the impression it had been OK'd... After I've said no at least three times? Wow... I already said that I don't want to flood the Hall with new PCs if there aren't enough quests for them to participate in. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Out of curiosity, are Shadeaux Capes banned, or just an ultra-rare drop? Quote

Actually assuming you have all the gems already, with only 990 Gold, you can have a SP 90 shield pretty quickly and be immune to all elements. I'd say SP 2 is plenty and then make it un-upgradable. swils Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Aw cmon, let us (me) use polishes on it. I need a good shield, and wouldn't mind feeling obscenely powerful for once, haha Quote
