Sisco Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 OOC: Why the name change? Good question! I just felt that 'cralegoboy' was getting old. I've had it for quite a while. All my friends IRL call me Sisco, so I thought "hey, why don't I just carry it over to Eurobricks?" And here we are. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 "Sometimes"? I'm slacking, then... Oh, come now. All you have to do is call him K-Nut. On a more game-related note, do any of the players feel that Quest 17 is too much thinking, too much strategy, and not enough straight-forward action? I know it's a lot more complicated than your average battle. Just thought I'd ask for some mid-Quest feedback here. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Its awesome Doc, only thing is the inactivity between battles. Will there be a boss at the final wave? Quote

I know it's a lot more complicated than your average battle. Just thought I'd ask for some mid-Quest feedback here. I would like more action, but you've been doing a good job lately keeping it going. I love the strategy part, and the planning, as I've been through Sun Tzu's Art of War, like, 5 times. Also, I love reading/studying on medieval battles and how they were won. (Main interests are Hastings and Agincourt.) So I like to apply anything I've learned. Good job Doc. Quote
Kadabra Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 OOC: I'll leave you there, Xander can't attack and I'm going to recommend William to go at the Warrior, you'll get the personal kill. "Willaim! Make sure tha Warrior can't get a free hit on us!" Althior screams as his heart pounds against the cold steel of his locket. Memories start to flood back to him. He smelled fire, the burning of paper, as he sat in his room. Could it be his grandfather and one of his crazy accidents again? Probably. He waited for a few minutes, but the smell did not cease. He began to worry. He sat up and left his room, sprinting down the hall. He got to his Grandfather's room where he was nowhere to be seen. He heard voices and screaming from down the hall he came. He ran back to see a few men-like creatures, holding his sister. One was Orcish, holding a sword, while the other had yellow tattoo's and an Axe with him. They were also accompanied by a mechanical "'Ello 'ello 'ello!" The Orc took off his bronze helmet, "We've been expecting you..." Grof the orcish hunter approached closer. Althior comes back to realtity, remembering the poacher he attacked in the woods. He knew it was the same Orc. And he needed to find him once again. I'm pretty sure Grof was a girl, as her special caused the Enamored effect. :P Plus, the Atlantis Guardian head is relatively feminine compared to the Fantasy Era Orc heads. Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 If this is strategy based, can I shoot someone in the knee? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Its awesome Doc, only thing is the inactivity between battles. Will there be a boss at the final wave? Well, like I said at the beginning, the Quest is set up so that it will be unwinnable if you don't make improvements to the defenses. That time in between is for the planners to plan and the inventors to invent. Yes, there will be a boss. I would like more action, but you've been doing a good job lately keeping it going. I would've liked to put the boiling oil on top of those two tower doors, so no guards would have to be posted on the West Wall- that was kind of the point, so we would have more men to work with. Anyways, the stakes were inspired by Agincourt, the oil inspired by a prank done with a bucket of water, and I have another, to instantly (hopefully ) destroy the elf battering ram, inspired by warfare done today. K-Nut Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 ...the oil inspired by a prank done with a bucket of water... Oh! I forgot we had those! Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Oh! I forgot we had those! Where did we deploy those anyways??? One one the West wall and the other on a tower or something right? Quote
Kadabra Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Considering we were a primarily male party, with our only female as an ancient foreign race, that makes the special somewhat disturbing. Quote

CorneliusMurdock Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Um...so did I. You guys can reheat them and use them for the next battle. Just pop them in the microwave for a couple of minutes and they'll be all good. Don't forget to use oven mitts. Quote

Take container of rocks. 2.) Have Althior boil them into lava with his Ruby. 3.) Drop magma on Elves 4.) ??? 5.) Profit! Quote

C'mon people, we need an arena fight to entertain us, but I'm sure Alisha has already barged someone. Edited February 4, 2012 by Scorpiox Quote
