But are Type based immunities the same as NPC/enemy specific immunities?

No. Type-based immunities can be counteracted (for example, an Aquatic/Rock's Aquatic immunity to Water being counteracted by its Rock weakness to it for a grand total of 1x), while NPC/enemy-specific immunities can't be (i.e. a Rock-type enemy that's *Immune to Water* would take 0 damage from Water, because the immunity effect overrides the Type-based weakness).

Yeah, I apologize if my personal dismissal of the Axpeord made it seem like it's not very good. It's actually a really amazing weapon, just not for my own shield-based build--it's nothing to turn one's nose up at.

It DOES damage Ethereal enemies though. :classic:

I am not trying to complain, it's just like eating a delicious gut busting meal and then being offered your favorite dessert.

I will put it to good use, especially if someone in my party wants to borrow it. And if someone had Gut's Small Axe accessory...

It's the only solution. I'll be Bloke Feeblesword."

Ah ha! So you reveal your TRUE self!

The Axepeord would be great on a Vindicator build because of Zweihander grip (unless I'm misunderstanding something). That's what had me drooling about it, to be honest.

I hope I haven't offered you an impossible battle, MDM. I thought you had at least some back up weapons... and you know, it wasn't like this battle was exactly pre-determined for you (or to happen at this point at all).:grin:

heroica-axpeord.jpgGreat Axpeord (WP:40, cannot be wielded with a shield; greatsword/axe/spear) "Hoke Ablesword (UsernameMDM)!"

Out of thin air, a giant sword/axe/spear thing drops at Hoke's feet as he prepares to spar with his new colleague.

Figures that Hoke would get the really big sword/axe/spear.:laugh:

The betting is now at 10474 imaginary gold to zero, meaning a bet of zero will net the better 10474 imaginary gold in the case of Hoke's victory.

I'll put 1 gold on that.

Hoke will take a few whacks at her and see what happens. You could've tweaked her a bit to at least give Hoke a chance...

You DO have something that I would trade it for...

I don't mean to be pushy but am I getting the Henry award for most scrolls in an inventory at once or what?:tongue:

First, we have to decide if we're doing them again, and if so, who is hosting it?

I'd be happy to do it if enough people want it/no one else wishes to host it, but obviously wouldn't do it without running it past Sandy (can't have too many events going on at once, after all)/taking a fair amount of time to plan it.

Working on it.

Everyone is a dual weilder, I see.

Looking forward to it!

Also, Zeph, is that the second or third Minoid? The second one is from Deeper, if I recall... Is this one the same one?
