Sandy Posted August 24, 2015 Author Posted August 24, 2015 EDIT: Do you have Davy Jones' actual head, too? That was actually the head I was going for. Which one did you use? I don't seem to recognize it. Of course I have, I just thought the blue eyes were off in comparison to the others. That head belongs to Grima Wormtongue from the LotR Orthanc Set. Quote
KotZ Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I have 382 minifigures with some spare parts lying around. Quote

Flipz Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Khorne, have you considered hosting a Nord-based Quest where (some of?) your sets are drawn rather than photographed? At the very least, it could be a really, really cool way to handle things like ancient legends and flashbacks. Quote

At the very least, it could be a really, really cool way to handle things like ancient legends and flashbacks. That would indeed be very cool, but also a lot more work than just building the sets (working on the presumption I have all pieces needed to build the set and characters I want). Vignettes or one-shots like this one would somewhat work and would invoke a really cool old-school/mythical atmosphere, but like I said: it's a lot of work. Figures or characters themselves are rather doable, it's mostly their anatomy that's really tricky. The real difficulty would be buildings. The best way there would be to disregard that they're made out of LEGO, or else it would truly be hell to draw those . We'll see, someday some artwork might pop up in a Quest . Depends on the time I have on my hands mostly. Quote
StickFig Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 As of today, I myself have 2464 minifigs. I have, like, 100 minifigures. Yeah, same here, and I thought that was a lot... until now. Quote
StickFig Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 "...Star-Breaker." At least it's less edgy than, I dunno, "Dark-shadow" or "Angst-vengence-mourning" Anywl's response is perfect, though, just right to not break the fourth wall and still comment subtly on Hero absurdity... well done. "...Forget I asked." Quote
Zepher Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Current plan in 130 - go to the bog. Arrive in the afternoon. Warn the sister to leave before she's killed in the evening. megabluck with space and time. Quote

Although you could still megabluck up space and time, and remove her body so Sarge and Eric couldn't have found her... Quote

Tamper with the crime scene and completely frame someone when Sarge and Eric drop off the bodies. Edited August 25, 2015 by CallMePie Quote

How would you even deal with that? Maybe I'll have Boomingham pee into the fountain, and that's what poisoned it. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 The murder certainly is an interesting plot development. But I'm frustrated that Sarge still has to sleep and can't do night activities. Quote

Endgame Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Arthur is about to do roughly 1000 damage to one of your mobs in the other 139 quest, Zeph, just a warning. Quote

I hate to turn this into a competition but: >Sarge vs. Dwarven Revenant Captain (twice) - Special Damage/Shield (Arrogant Prick - Captain: 623 health-(111+111=222x8=1776 dmg)=0 health; Sarge: items stolen) I think Skrall has probably dealt the most damage in one hit though? I remember his fields party defeating a boss in a matter of rounds. Edited August 25, 2015 by Pyrovisionary Quote

Pyrovisionary Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) Yeeeeaaaah....good times. I remember reading in awe. Now when I look at Hoke's stats, all I do is, read in awe. Tesni got 14,000 damage once. :look is indeed the correct emoticon. All your boss's health are belong to Tesni. EDIT: Lind should run a secondary poll of what OP character us lower levels will follow blindly in fear. Quite a few of which are on #139 Edited August 25, 2015 by Pyrovisionary Quote

All your boss's health are belong to Tesni. That was because she had a x32 multiplier, if I recall. (Fragile x Encouraged x 3 elemental weaknesses). There's a reason why QMs balance for stuff - and besdies, pretty much the rest of my bosses are gonna be Ancients anyway. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 If Lind can either embed a Scroll of Frailty in Star-Breaker, a la the Dream Forge, get Fragile embued a la a "100% on successful hits" version of Emjajoas's edited forge, (or get a WP: 1 Halberd, deals Fragile as Grogsmas gift/drop), well, to quote Pathaldric, "You're running with the big boys, now." (At least in terms of humanoids, but they aren't exactly rare. ) Quote

You're better off just waiting for a good drop on a quest than upgrading that edgily named weapon. Try and buy one of the Halberds or Lances I sold to Flipz, who hasn't used them Getting a 100% chance for an effect is pretty OP, ala Conspirator. I remember the argument over that being OP . Besides, you've had the fast track with leveling. Bear in mind for example, that I've been doing Heroica nearly 3 times as long as you, so that may explain why, at only 2 levels higher than Lind, I have a rather OP build in comparison. Though those netherwings and that armour are pretty nice Quote
Quarryman Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 That was because she had a x32 multiplier, if I recall. (Fragile x Encouraged x 3 elemental weaknesses). 128x actually. Double 8x against enemies weak against fire, then encouraged on top of that. (note to self: bookmark that damn link this time ) I'm still hoping to be able to top that some time, just need 41 undead and encouraged + fragile. (or actually just 20 undead if the enemy is of multiple types weak against the same element) Quote
