Emjajoas Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Bet Mortimer is an aquaphobe after Alice forced him to take a quick swim. I don't know if I ever said this, but had every single hero been tempted by Regret (Masson bedded Karie while she was drugged, Johon drugged Karie, Alice betrayed Mortimer) the ending would've been very different. Long story short, The Regret would realize he f*cked up creating his temporal assassins, hastily use Animutila to splice a few more lifespark embers into him, essentially making him a mindless beast. The battle would've been driving him backwards across the birdge to knock him into the Lifespark. The huge power surge the Oculoids got from that would result in them mowing down the rest of the hunters (including wrecking the Excelsus) before they overloaded and died, and the heroes would have to hijack another boat and ride back to Eubric in shame, with all of the treasure hunters dead. 105's endings, specially the one that transpired (more specifically, no ending at all) are not things I'm proud of. I had originally thought it might be cool to have Mortimer a bit of an aquaphobe/someone prone to getting seasick, but I scrapped that pretty quick. Quote
Khorne Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 "As you wish." Sorrow repats Tee-hee. Repats About the poster I posted some posts back, it's actually based (ie. a blatant, merely Legolized copy) of a famous WWII Soviet poster. The Vox Populi posters (and many, many others both fictive and non-fictive) are probably inspired by old-school Soviet posters as well, so Kintobor wasn't that far off . Quote
Scubacarrot Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Were some of the Fields challenges removed? I seem to recall during the trip I was on there was one called War? Quote
Flipz Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Were some of the Fields challenges removed? I seem to recall during the trip I was on there was one called War? Yeah, we nuked a few that were just too lucrative without adding very much difficulty. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Yeah, we nuked a few that were just too lucrative without adding very much difficulty. Fair enough! Quote
Endgame Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Christ, that subquest in 137 is getting even more stalkerish. Quote
K-Nut Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Christ, that subquest in 137 is getting even more stalkerish. I know we have a job to do, but Althior's missed out on two battles now. Papa's got to get payed. Quote
Endgame Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 You're a master class. EXP is irrelevant now. Quote
K-Nut Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 You're a master class. EXP is irrelevant now. It's the thrill of it dammit! Plus I love completely destroying the enemies... Quote

Khorne Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Did you draw the left of the wall yourself, Pie? You got some mad Word skills (you use Word to edit all your photos, right?) Quote
CMP Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Did you draw the left of the wall yourself, Pie? You got some mad Word skills (you use Word to edit all your photos, right?) I realized far too late that I had angled the wall way too much and that it has been way too short, but it was getting late and I just wanted to get the update up. I've actually done in a bit before but I don't think anyone noticed last time. Quote
Mencot Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Word is the new LEGO Cad. And I actully didn´t even notice anything strange about that image, pretty good editing CMP, especially when using WORD Quote
UsernameMDM Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 So who from 135 is going to shank Monk Pretzel when they get back to the Hall? Quote
swils Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I know that I won't. Thormanil is going to be devastated upon return, but he'll recognize that Pretzel wasn't under his own control at the time. Baba's a nasty witch, he knows this first hand. Quote
Palathadric Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 So who from 135 is going to shank Monk Pretzel when they get back to the Hall? I might. Quote
Flipz Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Youngling!Miirym full reveal! Scaling is always screwy with LEGO creatures, let alone magical ones that grow at absurd speeds, but right now Miirym's just about the same size as a minifigure from nose to tail (so, a little heavy to be shoulder-sitting anymore); yesterday in-game, she was only about two-thirds that size (so, too large to just sit on a shoulder, but workable to hold on a shoulder and an outstretched arm, if just barely). By the time we reach Xu, she'll be 1:1 scale with her LEGO representation. I might. Seppuku? At the risk of sounding like Pretzel himself, perhaps he can assuage his guilty conscience by selling stuff to other Heroes to help them be better equipped against evil? I do regret selling that Scroll of Frailty instead of imbuing it, though. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 At the risk of sounding like Pretzel himself, perhaps he can assuage his guilty conscience by selling stuff to other Heroes to help them be better equipped against evil? ^This. And he can sell them on credit, to poor but zealous young heroes. Quote
Zepher Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I can't wait to see how Nerwen and Pretzel interact once they come back! I think this was a great twist and look forward to all the superb role-play it will bring. Quote
