Scubacarrot Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Dust is an anagram for Duts. There's three different words in that sentence. In the alphabet, which letter is three across from D, it's G. Duts becomes: Guts. Confirmed. Quote

Scubacarrot Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Guts needs to come onto Judgment Day to meet his alter egos. It's kind of impressive how I've never been on an Endgame quest, honestly. We should fix it! Quote
Endgame Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 It's kind of impressive how I've never been on an Endgame quest, honestly. We should fix it! I'm timing Judgment Day to come after 139. We should efinitely fix it. And for once, there isn't a stupidly complicated mythos behind it! Just 70, 138 (134 is almost entirely summarized in that one) , and maybe some Progg background knowledge is "needed." Quote
Zepher Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 And as for me, my final quest will lean incredibly heavily on complicated mythos! Actually, you'd really just need to read 139 and the very end of 127, and everything else will just be fun details/background knowledge on some of the NPCs. Or you could just come to it not knowing the mythos. I like uninformed people making choices. Quote
Kintobor Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I'm not having one big finale for all my plot lines, but I'm beginning to wrap things up with the finales to the Cemetery, Vault, and Butcher of Eubric arcs coming soon. Four quests to go from me! Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I'm timing Judgment Day to come after 139. We should efinitely fix it. What are the chances of Judgement Day starting prior to Jan. 1st, 2016? Having the two most vocal candidates for Crescent on a quest together would be very interesting...Cabin Boy's Rags (All other party members gain +3 power, bodywear) These would be particularly useful if you were on a quest a la #138/#103, where one of the party members is only level 1, and everyone else is 20+. Endgame Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 (edited) What are the chances of Judgement Day starting prior to Jan. 1st, 2016? Having the two most vocal candidates for Crescent on a quest together would be very interesting... That's a question to ask Zepher, not myself, considering I'm waiting until 139 runs its course. Having the two elected kings would certainly change a bit of the quest dynamics, though. Edited September 18, 2015 by Endgame Quote
JimBee Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Atramor will probably be voting Jun leader. Here's hoping Umbra doesn't recognize him. All aboard the same boat. Quote
Palathadric Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 If Guts has a kid the way Karie did, it would be a completely unexpected yet fantastically interesting revelation about him. And about everyone that shares his face. Quote
Kintobor Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 (edited) And about everyone that shares his face. I don't even know who my non-existent, vigilante leader husbando is anymore. Edited September 19, 2015 by Kintobor Quote
Palathadric Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I don't even know who my non-existent, vigilante leader husbando is anymore. Karie always seemed the dominant force. Quote
Endgame Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Karie always seemed the dominant force. Pretty much, actually. Masson is the physically stronger/more adept/more educated one, but losing an arm and having failing mental health does that to you. Quote
Asphalt Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 So who has made more enemis, jinniper or lind? Quote
Endgame Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 So who has made more enemis, jinniper or lind? Terry is just peeved, he doesn't have it in him to be enemies. Quote
JimBee Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Sorry Zeph and 139ers, I haven't had time to write a worthy post. I will try my best to post tonight. Quote
Zepher Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 That's okay, it's been a slow day or two for everyone, I feel! I will update both quests tonight, just wanted to give everyone room to breath and get in their thoughts. As for how long it will take (Lind/Endgame)... I'd say we're at least half way through, probably a little past that. Don't want to make any concrete promises though. Quote

I( may have to speed up my planning process, although i can't say I mind. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 So who has made more enemis, jinniper or lind? Lind, but Lind can probably make up with most of them. Jinnipher...probably doesn't plan on doing that any time soon. Thought you'd say, like, 25%. I( may have to speed up my planning process, although i can't say I mind. No need to hurry too much, Lind needs to gear up.Someone post a quest for newbie midlevels... Quote

I'm afraid it shows through the diminished quality of my roleplaying. Quote

JimBee Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I'll post some replies to bits of conversation on the last few pages that I've only now had time to get to. First, Zepher, thanks for bringing up those old posts from the Hall. It's very interesting to take a look back and see how the motives of some of the older characters have affected who they are now. Guts, Boomingham, Nyx, Hybros… I think they were all pretty different people back then, even though their goals haven't really changed all that much since. Second, Retraga did speak at the end of #59, and you're doing a great job with her. I'm very grateful she gets to reappear after all this time! Quote
Endgame Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Quick, 139ers, punch Firestomach in the face while her eyes are closed. Quote
