Sandy Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 Wait, AND FUTURE?! ...I'm back to not liking the concept. Houses can go megabluck themselves. This came as a surprise to you? Even though I repeatedly said that choosing a side would have lasting effects, and the nature of this game would change? Of course you can't gain reputation with a faction if you openly support their rivals! Some quests will be faction-locked, as well. But it doesn't mean you can't ever go on a quest with people from opposing factions, there are plenty of "neutral" quests that have nothing to do with the houses. Quote
Dragonfire Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Right. All past, present and future reputation with the opposing faction is nulled when you join a side. I'm about to post the Wolf King's Followers topic, so stay tuned. Just a query, if you were to join the Wolfgang faction, could you still get reputation with any other houses in the future? Or does it work like the other two? Quote

Palathadric Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Just a query, if you were to join the Wolfgang faction, could you still get reputation with any other houses in the future? Or does it work like the other two? I think Sandy said they could still keep their reputation with the other houses since they'd be, sort of, supporting undercover. Not sure if this is just wishful thinking, though. I do recall Sandy mentioning something like that somewhere. Quote
Duvors Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Quick question: What does Soul-bound mean? Quote
Kintobor Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Means once you've gotten it, it can't be given to other players. Quote

Asphalt Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 bah, there is no "one Armed giant" option. Quote
swils Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 bah, there is no "one Armed giant" option. Sure there is. Order an appropriate fig, then when it arrives, cut the arm off and file down the nub. Then you've even got a lovely arm bit to use... wherever! Can never have enough bitz. Quote
Endgame Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Unfortunately can't make Sorrow on Heroforge because I don't think there's a "no face" option, but I'd be willing to give other people's characters a shot? Quote

Thanks! For some reason, the 3d option isn't working for me.Here's Lind's current photo: , but I'm planning to soon replace the throwing knife with a halberd... Quote
swils Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Try it in Firefox--Chrome wouldn't load the preview for me. I'm really tempted to print & paint one of Thormy. If I can find a dragonling or full-grown dragon model that I like to accompany it, I might have to cave and paint it, alongside all those Eldar I have yet to get around to... Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) Thanks for showing me this valuable resource, Hoke! It will be much used, even if wings are sadly missing from the options. https://www.heroforge.com/load_config=364910 Edited September 30, 2015 by The Chosen Minifigure Quote
JimBee Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Hey, that's pretty neat. It has way more options than the other hero creator app we were all using a few years back. I was able to get closer with Hybros, at least (no he's not a robot). Quote

Mencot Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 bah, there is no "one Armed giant" option. So what kind of humanoid/creature is Vindsval actually? "half born", "half giant" you have as race but what is that somekind of half-orc/half human? I think he looks a bit like a "Magera" from the AD&D Darksun. Quote
Asphalt Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 He is Half Green Skinned Ogre and Half Giant. Father was the Ogre, a nomadic Shaman and his mother was a Giantess from the far north. Quote

Oke, good. Don´t need to speculate anymore on that then . How many are familiar with the Dark Sun series here? And so it begins... I'm afraid I've never read them - my (hard) fantasy fiction consists primarily of Lebier and Tolkien. Oh man that is so disturbing What is that in his hand? To answer your question, he's holding a staff. It's what kind of staff he's holding, that's the real question... Quote
