I love railways! Seriously. Up north that's what I mostly use, but apparently they're not quite as connective down here in the south. They also are less dependent on traffic, so the likelihood of you missing connections (which was my issue) is way less likely. I had a 13 hours lay-over.

I do wonder when the people of the US rediscover the benefits of railways over buses. They're faster, comfier and more environmentally-friendly, after all.

Because the US is huge. Mass transit in the USA outside of metropolitan areas in unfeasible.

My Pandemonicon quest will start soon-ish...

Sweet. Dark chaotic power awaits.

Not that Lind'd take advantage of it, or anything.

Not at all.

If we can't stop the POWER SOURCE from RELEASING ITS POWER, I'll be damned if I'm not the one to benefeit from it!

My sources claim that she actually worships a northern deity called Sarfangr, the "Wolf that Eats the Moon". With Salome's help, I have been looking into värtlandish sagas, and found out a prophecy about a Wolf King that will rule the Realm of the Moon at the end of days. Doesn't that sound familiar to you, Sir Boomingham? Are Ulrica and her son truly preparing for the end of the world? I am deeply worried what that will mean for Eubric.

Things are heating up - or getting colder, rather... :sweet::thumbup: Edited by Lind Whisperer

Naw, was stuck at bus stations/on buses for nearly 48 hours. Not quite as much fun as camping.

This is why you fly whenever possible.

Besides #85(which I'm working through), what quests would be good/required reading for a player highly interested in embarking on a quest featuring the Pandemonicon?*

*Assuming it doesn't conflict with the Immortalis** quest.

**Endgame: I will get a draft of the message PM'd to you soon.

I had completely forgotten that I sent that. With how quick you usually are to post, I thought you just had writer's block or something.

Don't know about comfier, my brother said the US metro sucked bullocks. :look:

The quests in the Pandemonicon story arc are #44 and #85, there are no others. It is mentioned in the interludes of #135, though.

When I have the time to just sit down and force myself to write it, I'll get a first draft together quickly enough - it's just finding the time+forcing myself when I do have the time*.

*Great devotion to character development on my part, I know. :hmpf::blush:

Thank you.

Hey Sandy, might i suggest pinning the Heroica Hall?

Done. The list of pinned topics is a bit too long for my taste, though, but I hope people will now find what they are looking for easier.

I think that it's just one of the more important topics, as people will post quest sign ups there. Edited by Windusky

I think you should do the same with the Marketplace that way it does not get "lost" and people can access it much easily.

There's the Index topic pinned for that very reason.

Change of plans! I will not be launching the Pandemonicon quest quite yet, but next up will be a fun little newbie-quest (that I literally thought up today). It can also act as our Halloween Special this year, even though it's a normal quest.

I'll get to the Pandemonicon when #130 is done. Don't want to get stuck with hosting two epics at the same time.

The Heroica Hall is there too but okay.

I really have not been keeping up with news as of recently so I do not even know what this Pandemonicon quest even is so is there a specific page I can read about it? Does the new quest you thought of today tie in with it?

Like I just said, this new quest is not a Pandemonicon quest. :hmpf:

You can read about the book from the Wiki, but if you want to know more, I suggest skimming through quests #44 and #85.

Reading on the Pandemonicon, I have a pretty solid theory: The Green Witch is the actual mother of Sham Poo and he will destroy all the bad guys and he will become King of Eubric and Olegaia. The End. #mysterysolver #toogoodforsherlock #sopredictablesandy :smug:

...The sad part is...That'd actually make sense. Shcezy, who I'm calling Shcezy because I'm too lazy to c and p from the Hall topic, has been with Heroica from the start, introducing her son, the protagonist who keeps popping up...

Darn it, that shouldn't make that much sense!!! :hmpf_bad: :hmpf_bad: :hmpf_bad: :hmpf_bad: :hmpf_bad: :hmpf_bad:

Although I guess Sandy will Burlew it now that the secret's been revealed.

Is there going to be a level cap? I've been on Heroica for a week now, and there haven't been any quests available.

This is actually the first new quest in about five weeks.

...Actually, it's been closer to six or more...Man, time flies... :look:

Anyways, Sandy's quests have had mixed levels before, and he's specifically said this is aimed at newbies, so the good Dr. is in just the right level category to get on it.

You'll probably need more patience than that. Quests take a long time to plan and host, we can't just crank them out. But once you're on one, it can last months! So it's a give and take.
