KotZ Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Is there going to be a level cap? I've been on Heroica for a week now, and there haven't been any quests available. This is actually the first new quest in about five weeks. ...Actually, it's been closer to six or more...Man, time flies... Anyways, Sandy's quests have had mixed levels before, and he's specifically said this is aimed at newbies, so the good Dr. is in just the right level category to get on it. And it's a Sandy quest, so it's a great quest to have as your first. Quote

Kintobor Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Windusky, make sure you bold your sign up in the hall. QMs are a picky lot, and they like to be able to see sign ups clearly. Quote

Endgame Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 "...That...is a very wide spectrum." Question is, which is scarier? Quote
Chromeknight Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Would signing up to the garden quest mean missing the pandemonicon? I know you said it wouldn't start until after, but that'd put me three sandy quests in a row... Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Pin this week's Doctor who so nobody accidentally misses it. This. Quote
Sandy Posted October 15, 2015 Author Posted October 15, 2015 Would signing up to the garden quest mean missing the pandemonicon? I know you said it wouldn't start until after, but that'd put me three sandy quests in a row... I said I would start the Pandemonicon after #130, however long that will still last. This new quest will be a short one, but I'm unsure if it will end before the next one launches. I'm looking for low-level players for it, though. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I'm looking for low-level players for it, though. The one time Lind's under-gearedness might actually be useful... This new quest will be a short one, but I'm unsure if it will end before the next one launches. Hmm... Quote
Flipz Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 (edited) Sorry for the awkward ending/optional puzzle explanation here, folks, that's what I get for trying to push out an update before I have to rush out the door. Unlimited Quest, I'll try to get a battle up tomorrow night at the latest, thank you for your patience. Edited October 15, 2015 by Flipz Quote
Palathadric Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Windusky, I love you avatar. It has "Monk Pretzel Junior" potential written all over it. Quote
halixon Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Windusky, I love you avatar. It has "Monk Pretzel Junior" potential written all over it. I'm not sure what a Monk Pretzel Junior is. Question is, which is scarier? Umm, probably everyone in their undergarments, i gotta say. I really don't want to know what a munchkin looks like under all that armor. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I'm not sure what a Monk Pretzel Junior is.Pathaldric's character is called Monk Pretzel. He's saying Windus is like a junior version. Umm, probably everyone in their undergarments, i gotta say. I really don't want to know what a munchkin looks like under all that armor. Munchkins are human... Quote
halixon Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Pathaldric's character is called Monk Pretzel. He's saying Windus is like a junior version. Well, you never know. P.S. I think Windus looks like a cooler monk pretzel. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 The Orc laughs gruffly. "I didn't know you spoke Orcish. Few kuaio can. Sit down, aio. These are my wares and prices. But for you, twenty gold off your first purchase."What a generous chap! Phoenix Essence (Revives a fallen ally with full health during a battle.) Costs 85 gold. Mead (Causes the encouraged-effect, doubling the target's attack power for the duration of one battle.) Costs 40 gold. Shovel (Allows the user to dig the ground in search of a treasure.) Costs 30 gold. Magic Compass (Allows the user to know the right direction to go.) Costs 200 gold. :laugh:Speaking of Meads/Drinks, if anyone has any ideas for a drink/potion they'd like to see become a thing, but don't have a place for it, please feel free to PM me! I'm working on a short (newbie) alcohol centered quest, and I could use any spare drink ideas. Quote
halixon Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 So, Sandy, Where'd you find your avatar? I looked every where for heroica dice but couldn't find it. Not that i'm planning to use it. Quote

That's because Heroica(the LEGO board game) used LEGO dice with printed tiles - here's the tile in question. Quote

halixon Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 ~A new quest has been posted on the Quest Board (#142 by Sandy)!~ Come on guys! We need at least one more participant! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Come on guys! We need at least one more participant! You should have a number of lower-level sign-ups after Quest 141 finishes. Even after you get the number needed for the quest, the actual sign-ups don't close till the given date (generally) (in this case another 6 days) to allow opportunity for everyone who wants to to sign-up. In the case of more sign-ups than slots, the QM will select who goes on the quest. Quote
Palathadric Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Thanks for the avatars, Chromeknight! Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I'm confused is the 3-year old a typo? I was wondering that as well. Well, he's a "wonder," so I'm guessing he's supposed to be a child prodigy, perhaps?Either way, neat, and congrats Palathadric on acquiring a second character! Quote
