"Excuse me, I am a natural technician and a certified kindergartner." ...just FYI, everyone should watch this show, it's amazing and I may be making more than a few references to it in the future. ...and actually, one of my next Quests involves tracking down Sirone's orphaned brother... Cutcobra Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 But why is Pretzel dressed up as the 5 year old in your Avatar, Palla? Quote
halixon Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 But why is Pretzel dressed up as the 5 year old in your Avatar, Palla? Because he said he's supposed to be a 5 year old...... Quote
Cutcobra Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Because he said he's supposed to be a 5 year old...... Yeah, his second character is the five year old. But his first character, Pretzel, is dressed exactly the same as the five year old. You can see it in Pala's avatar. Unless Palathadric already said that Pretzel is supposed to be a five year old too, in which case, my bad. Quote

Khorne Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 [/color]"You...might not want to go around bragging like that." Lind nodded towards the impressive ogre sitting at the bar. "Heroicans come in all shapes and sizes." "I'm pretty sure a "dorf" ending denotes a 'he'." Not necessarily. Dorf simply means town. It doesn't really have anything to do with gender. In this case the name literally means "wood village (wald + dorf)". I agree as a first name it's probably most fitting for a male, but simply saying that it's male because it ends in "dorf" is cutting it a bit short . *puts down nerd glasses* Quote

Khorne Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Sorry to burst your nerd bubble, but Waldorf has already appeared in Quest#124, and he is very much a man. I was merely saying to Lind that having your name end in "dorf", doesn't automatically mean you're a male, as is the case with some Slavic and Latin names (and probably even other cultures). I wasn't really referring to the character in your quest per se, I was merely explaining the name in general. Of course, Waldorf is usually used as a male name, but it's not the "dorf" ending that makes it a male name. That's what I was trying to explain . Quote
Palathadric Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Can we officially name 124's party the most unlucky party ever? Quote
Khorne Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 The woman turned, and Heckz saw that she was no damsel in distress, but a ghoulish werepanther with a manic grimace on her face. Aside from the sharp fangs, she had enormous claws on both hands. What would Heckz do? Heckz continues with his masterplan and will still try and get some. Quote
Zepher Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I love Waldorf. Everyone - I'm traveling home today! It's by plane, so it shouldn't be as miserable and long as my bus adventure. Updates will come tonight, probably about 10 hours from now. And then tomorrow I'll be heading back up to school and be able to insert all those missing pictures. Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Is Sylph making his triumphant re-return? Did Sandy say Heroica was ending in 1 or 2 years? I think I heard that earlier, but I don't recall 100% ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Two years prediction, though I believe Sandy also said that 3 years ago. Ah, thanks. That's good to know. I still want to wrap up some of my Quest stories before Heroica ends and provide a little closure there. May have to get back in the saddle eventually. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
