Jebediahs Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Hehe I thought about joining the Crescent Union to use my 1 vote for Jun and stay long enough to see him stay ahead in the polls then leave when my vote no longer mattered. :-D Quote
Palathadric Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Wouldn't it be great if everyone who joined the Crescent Union and the Sungold Alliance voted for Ulric to be the king of those factions! Quote
The Chosen Minifigure Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Rolling is just a formality for this round, Innit Flipz'? Quote
Flipz Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Rolling is just a formality for this round, Innit Flipz'? Ask me again when the numbers aren't literally swimming before my eyes while I'm trying to calculate them. Believe me, if I was capable of auto rolling, I would have. 139, I'm not able to post right now, for similar reasons--if I focus too hard on something, I get incredibly sick and dizzy. 141, because this affects a deadline, I'm going to be generous and extend the deadline until I'm able to post again (shouldn't be more than an extra day or two). Again, I apologize for the delay, if I could update I would. Quote
Alfadas Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Don't worry about it Flipz, Just make sure you are feeling allright again. Quote
Kintobor Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I'm going to busy for the next couple of hours building and fan girling over the Mystery Mansion set, so if you're wondering where I am, that's where. Still, omigosh, omigosh, omigosh this set is amazing! Quote
Sandy Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 Still, omigosh, omigosh, omigosh this set is amazing! I know! I bought it from Singapore and it's still intact next to me on my desk. Quote
Endgame Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) I had similar reactions to the Winter Toy Shop, re-release or not. I wonder if someone will make a Christmas quest this year? Someone always suggests it, but it rarely seems to come to fruition. Edited October 20, 2015 by Endgame Quote
CMP Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I have plans for a quest involving Grogmas. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 And a few years before. At least, I would consider 53 a Grogmas quest. Quote
Endgame Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I made a Grogmas quest last year! I can't believe I forgot that one. And a few years before. At least, I would consider 53 a Grogmas quest. By that logic, 48 is a Grogmas quest too. Quote
Yzalirk Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Looks like I will get to experience my first Grogmas here. Will there be some sort of gift exchange or whatever like that one year? Out of curiosity, can someone show me some different Dwarf customization using the Balin armor over PM? Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 The priest then approached them again. "This is the statue of Grey Angel Ophaniel, who loved mortals so much he abandoned the grace of the Righteous Light. His pure white wings turned dull grey over Ennoc's disappointment in him, but he did not mind. He dedicated his existence to the protection of all mortals, despite being just a fallen angel. For his altruistic love, we forgotten ones love him back. Now, will you be spending the rest of the night with us? It is free of charge." I really hope we'll be seeing Ophaniel references in other quests. He sounds like rather an interesting character... Quote
Zepher Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I really love the priest's devotion to re-explaining the angel to us each time we stop in. I don't know if it's a joke or not, but I think it's hilarious and has made him one of my very favorite characters in the whole quest. Quote
KotZ Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Has anyone ever read all of the quests in order in a large marathon? Of course it would take more than one sitting but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Would you also read the Hall as well? Like When one quest starts you stop reading the Hall and read the quest and then go back and so on? Quote
Palathadric Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I have read all the quests in a "Marathon." Pretty much one per evening though. ...Not 48 though. Quote

Zepher Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I've re-read almost all the quests at one point or another, but not ever in a marathon. I think that'd be pretty cool, though! Figuring out where the Hall fits in would be pretty tough. Quote

Figuring out where the Hall fits in would be pretty tough. I've always assumed that sooner or later, probably after the story's done, someone will going to take everything and edit it into several books, chronicling the story of Heroica. (With minor cutting and trimming where necessary/relevant.)Fitting the Hall into it will be interesting...probably a series of brief cut-aways. Edited October 21, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote
Flipz Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Sorry, 139, 141 and UQ have to come first. I'll try to get something written up later. I'll also try to work up my thoughts on 141 for the QM Lounge over the next few days. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 You volunteering lind? Nope, too much on my plate at the moment. School, Immortalis letter , waiting to hear when I'll be able to get the parts for a quest free build...Too many things. Sorry, 139, 141 and UQ have to come first. I'll try to get something written up later. I'll also try to work up my thoughts on 141 for the QM Lounge over the next few days. Nice use of the Bonecopter, btw. And nice re-purposing of those roadplates, they make handy sci-fi walls in a pinch. Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I apolgoize that a joke I made is consuming your life. Heh. No, that'd be school. I'm just saying I have too many things currently on-going to even joke about chronicling Heroica. Quote
