Zepher Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 So what you are saying is that the East heroes need to hurry up and reach baltarok already? Or that Zane was never supposed to be fought? We can discuss it more after the quest. Let me put it this way - Zane is designed to be strong. I'd suggest you check out 136 and Latte and his troops. They were remarkably over-powered, and in a way that was important and powerful to the story. He did warn you, after all. But like I said, we can discuss further after the quest. There's always room for me to grow. Quote
StickFig Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 So, I suppose the only question is what do we do now? Can't fight Zane, can't find the treasure without him, no one wants to work with a dude who sucks out souls.... Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Yes, but I haven't been able to play yet. Quote
Zepher Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I really wish I could. I'm not much of a gamer so I don't really have any systems, but once in a blue moon a game comes out that makes me really wish I did have a way to play it. Quote

I'm not much of a gamer so I don't really have any systems, but once in a blue moon a game comes out that makes me really wish I did have a way to play it. I know what you mean. I've had to miss every non-PC game because of that. (Although for me it's more a refusal to pay outrageous sums for multiple systems that I don't need.) LEGO City: Undercover, Shadow of Ronin, every DS game, LEGO Dimensions... Quote
CMP Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Anyone else got Fallout 4? Awaiting UPS for it. Quote
Mencot Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 "Talk is cheap." Kid, I'll take you on any day." Hehehe, good one Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 (edited) Hehehe, good one Thank you.I was actually serious, though - I've PM'd K-Nut and Scubacarrot about a quick turn in the Arena. No stat boosts, attacks ignore defense, and Calamity can attack twice without Lind counter-attacking, and can re-roll either of them if she misses/rolls special damage. Attacks are directly based off of Class rules, and "Damage/Special Damage" is treated as a Miss(The last one is actually there for Calamity's benefit, not Lind's - otherwise, Lind could keep chugging potions and repeat #122's punch-out, where Matthias KO'd himself .) Lind Whisperer Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 "And you know what? I'll even loan you my Ruby for the fight, since I'm pretty sure I'm immune to anything you can fling out of that Amethyst of yours." I suddenly realized that Calamity only had one gem. Quote

K-Nut Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 The arena isn´t open, right? Technically no, but this might give me an opportunity to test the new rules that I've been working on. Quote
The Legonater Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Anyone else got Fallout 4? I picked up 3 and New Vegas for the first time. Does that count? Quote
Kintobor Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I picked up 3 and New Vegas for the first time. Does that count? Fallout 3 is fantastic. I love that game back to front. You will not be disappointed. Quote
Endgame Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Did Jinnipher actually sign up for 143 and I just missed it? Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Did Jinnipher actually sign up for 143 and I just missed it? No, just Kheyli, Monk Pretzel, and Calamity. Kheyli signs up for Quest #143 "Help with a birthday present. What do these people take us for. Bah! There's nothing going on here anyway." Looking towards the questboard, I hesitate. "Ah, well, no harm in signing up." I sign up for Quest #143. Calamity walks past the Quest Board carrying a bag containing black odd-shaped objects, and signs up for Quest 143. Karie isn't signing, because... I'm honestly not sure. The quest does seem like it'd be fitting - but maybe Kinto isn't playing because of RP issues? But, no, Jinnipher's apparently failed to sign up. Looking over my schedule...If it's just four weeks, I think I can safely commit to it. I'm pretty safe for the first three, at least - not sure about beyond that...Of course, at the rate we went through #138, rocketing through a four week quest so the total time is cut down to 3 weeks doesn't seem quite as crazy as it might have before #138. *round of applause to Endgame and his '733t' posting.* (Seriously, you were awesome with updates on that quest. JimBee Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Did Jinnipher actually sign up for 143 and I just missed it? Not yet. I was waiting for Karie to reply so it would make sense. I'll post it now, but consider her signed up. Quote

If Kinto signed up for this, it would be her third consecutive Endgame quest with a Cour with mental issues as a major NPC. At some point enough is enough. (Although if you stick around for Judgment Day, chances are you'd have back-to-back-to-back Endgame quests too.) My posting won't be as fast, probably - Summer is when I have a lot of free time. Still though, much smaller quest. Quote

I've been on just about every Endgame quest past 56. The only ones I missed were Home Sweet Home, Infestation, and Six Thousand Feet Under. If you look at the quests I've been on, most of them have been Endgame quests to a point where for Karie the Oculoid arc was her big focus, not Baba or the Wolfgang. I love your quests, Endgame, but I'd like to try some other QMs out, seeing how I still haven't been on a WBD or Flipz quest yet, and I'd love to be hosted by Zepher again someday. Speaking of, no new quests from me for a bit after Where the Dead Go to Live. Both personal reasons and also because working on another model train layout and it's chewing most of my pieces. Quote

Not that Endgame's loot isn't pretty sweet itself. *looks lovingly at the Netherwings*  Speaking of, no new quests from me for a bit after Where the Dead Go to Live. Make sure to share a link with us, if you post in in the Trains forum/MOCpages/etc.! *I've had to stop myself from copying and pasting about 85% of the #132 pictures into here. They were awesome.
