Maybe as a trial/short-term thing, you could play Haldor as an NPC in future Quests that pass through the area? One of the few things I didn't like about 104 was having to voice Tarn myself instead of being able to bring Rumble Strike back as a guest, so it'd be awesome to have some honest-to-goodness Haldor cameos from time to time. :classic:

I'd be down for that if anyone had a quest running through Baltarok, although I'd be just as happy for people to use and write for Haldor themselves if he were relevant. What I like most about this game is the communal structure of things and I'd have no qualms with people using my character if they wanted too - whether I'm involved or not. :classic:

"I'm Cree, only the noblest mopag warrior out there." I say to both of them. "And I guess we are the band of noble heroes. Not like you look any more like a hero than us, granny."

OoC: Here's a better photo: http://s683.photobucket.com/user/Pedguin/media/image.jpg1_zpsj1emvc0k.jpg.html every time I upload it, it says it's not supported.

Ahh, Photobucket. On the page you linked, you'll have to click the rightmost gray bubble at the top (if you hover over it you should get a tooltip saying "share to other services"; from there, just copy the contents of the "direct link" field and paste it between two image tags.

[img=*direct link goes here*]

Never mind, apparently Photobucket no longer allows you to copy your own link codes for whatever stupid reason. :hmpf: Get a Flickr account, I know for certain it works. :classic:

Well as it just so happens...

Yes, speaking of people who have plans for stuff in Baltarok...

Haldor may or may not have been discussed having a small role in a huge questline that may or not be happening in the eventual future. Maybe. :look:

For Jinnipher, the prospective lover, I'd like something for both her and her lover boy, perhaps a Shackles of War, wink wink, nudge nudge.

Karie says that as if she's above all that. :poke:

Loving this new Grogmas event. Thinking of loot to hand out.

Sorrow: Ether core - To jump on a bandwagon that was before my time.

Hey endgame... :poke: even though you have a use for it now

After 143, I am hosting my very last quest. There's going to be a Level 200 enemy. Come on it, I dare you.

Might have to sign up for that. Can't let you quit QM'ing without ever having been on one of yours. You seem to have developed quite a cult following, after all. Haha

It's still early in the Grogmas event, but it clearly highlights the benefits of developing relationships between the other characters in the game beyond "Oh hey, I quested with you once." Am I allowed to wish for a soul for Pretzel, since he clearly sold his first one?

Immortalis is Level 200? *huh*:pir-oh: Or are we finally going to meet that transparent person from the MS Paint picture, that never appeared in #138?
Posted (edited)

No, Immortalis is way more than Level 200, with cobined strength. Vorpalis was something like 350?

Also, while I'm teasing mechanics:

*Impending Doom!* The hero is knocked out in one round unless otherwise remedied.

Also, what? That red dude was just there for scale. I don't even think it was me that made that joke.

Come and join! All you need to know about is 134, 138, and maybe 70. Dragoons are welcome, considering its The Father of All Dragons you're dealing with.

Not him, this guy:wLxCvm0.png

Darn it - now I really wish I could go. I've had an RP idea in mind for a while...

(Not the letter, something in addition to that...)

Father of All Dragons? Sounds like he needs a slayin'. Guess I've got some reading to do!

Definitely on top. Wink wink, nudge nudge, know what I mean.

Updates will be rolling out tomorrow both for Where the Dead Go to Live and The Pen is Mightier than the Sword. Apologies for the delay, I've been feeling really sick and haven't had a lot of time to sit down and get things done. Really sorry, guys.

Slay the Father of Dragons? You monster!:laugh:

Oh, he was just a mock-up.

Gotcha. Was he an early version of Charon?

Are you certain you won't be able to go, Lind? :look:

I honestly don't know, my schedule is so upside-down anymore... :sceptic:

Thormanil Nihai, Dragonslayer, Orc-kin (swils)

Dragonsbane Lance (WP: 20, triple damage to enemies with 'Dragon' in their name, lance)

It's kinda my thing, y'know?

Skipping back a bit: I can say my least favorite part about hosting quests in Dastan is playing Tarn. I think I do a fine job, but it makes me miss Rumble Strike, who did a superb job. It's the same reason I've steered clear of Haldor.

I finally understand (I think) what Lind Whisperer is playing. He's a munchkin, right? There's the card game Munhkin. That's where you got it al, right? I've been playing the past week and it finally clicked.

Close - the both card game and the race were named after the same thing.

Of course, as time's gone on, I've tried to tone that aspect down - although it still crops up in a few things, like Lind's fervent "belief" in the Dodekube(but even that's been toned down a bit, since the Dodekube is now an actual in-game entity, as of a few hours ago tonight.)

Maybe just a wee bit presumptuous?

I kind of picture Immortalis as being a representation of some sort of primal force, like the Fates - like how the Regret is representative of...something. Regret?:blush: (I need to do an archive binge. ) If that were the case, having him be the actual Father of Dragons doesn't seem too big a position for him... Edited by Lind Whisperer

Eh, I'm not the biggest fan of QM's taking singular common ideas/concepts/content and making them absolutes, i.e. all Dwarves must serve my NPC that I've created, all undead must be evil, or all dragons must come from this one NPC I've created. :sceptic: As QM's, yes we create content, but we should try to do so, so that people can expand upon it not be limited to a single interpretation. If you want to take a race you've created and create limitations upon it, fine, but commonly used story telling components should be limited carefully. :shrug_confused:
