Sandy Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Whoa, that was really in-depth, Flipz! I don't know if I should be deeply honoured or a little creeped out that you spent that much time dissecting the classes... Wow . Thanks for giving an in-depth analysis of all those classes. You raise points I would've never thought of . Flipz raises points that I would've never thought of either. I think I even need to make some minor adjustments due to Flipz's analysis. For example, if a shaman rolls a Shield, how would it be decided who gets the transferred health? I'm thinking it would be the party member with the lowest health... Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I think I even need to make some minor adjustments due to Flipz's analysis. For example, if a shaman rolls a Shield, how would it be decided who gets the transferred health? I'm thinking it would be the party member with the lowest health... Yes, but what if the party member with the lowest health is KO'd? Quote
Sandy Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Yes, but what if the party member with the lowest health is KO'd? I meant the lowest current health, not the lowest maximum health. Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I meant the lowest current health, not the lowest maximum health. Yes, that is what I meant as well. Here, an example: Player A has 9/10 HP Player B has 7/10 HP Player C has 0/10 HP and is Knocked Out Player D (Shaman) rolls a Shield Should the Health from the Shield roll go to Player B or Player C? Quote
Sandy Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Should the Health from the Shield roll go to Player B or Player C? A knocked out character cannot be healed until s/he is revived, so it would go to Player B. Quote
Tanma Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I meant the lowest current health, not the lowest maximum health. What about if the two lowest health players on a team had the exact same amount of health? For instance: Player A has 6/9 Player B has 2/7 Player C has 2/7 Shaman D rolls a shield. How would you decide then? Would the health be split among the two of them, a die rolled to decide the receiver, or what? Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I don't reckon that it would revive the player, but Sandy knows best. Wow Flipz I am really impressed with your guidence, reckon you could do one for Haldor? Quote
Rumble Strike Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I apologize, but you have to remember that English is not my first language, so the more subtle meanings of words and phrases sometimes elude me. If you have examples or suggestions, though, I can see what I can do about them. Hi Sandy! The wording and terminology is absolutely fine and gets across very well what the Shaman is capable of as an advanced class. My "roleplay" issue around it is the "blood ritual/blood magic" stuff, which really wouldn't fit into my character and seems to draw much more from the wild Barbarian archetype than the more cultured Cleric class. Quote
CMP Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 There's one thing all potential Shamans MUST avoid at all costs, and that's Witches on the allied team. If you even THINK there's going to be a Witch on your Quest, run the other way. Their perma-poison will completely screw up your Shield and can most definitely kill you or your other party members. (Besides that, two Clerics in one party is overkill, unless the party has to split up at some point.) Stupid Shamans, messing up my game.... Quote
Sandy Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 How would you decide then? Would the health be split among the two of them, a die rolled to decide the receiver, or what? A QM should solve that with a roll of a die, in that case. "When in doubt, roll the dice." Quote
Jebediahs Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Otherwise, find an Assassin and form a permanent partnership; their insta-kill posibility can be a lifesaver for allied Berserkers. Hah, Eric has such a partner in the form of Hybros. *cough*together-in-every-quest*cough* Quote
RPGer Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 What happens if you're a Berserker but something like Jeb's Taunt came into play when the Berserker had targeted another enemy? Would it change the attack or would the Berserker keep their target? If this was answered berfore:   Quote

If this was answered berfore:   Good question, I would say it is something the GM should decide, although I am inclined to say an enemy's taunt has priority. Quote
RPGer Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Good question, I would say it is something the GM should decide, although I am inclined to say an enemy's taunt has priority. Yeah, I think that the Taunt overules the Berserker. I'd love more feedback. I think that Eric and Hybros are a cool team and they would be tough to take down. Quote
Khorne Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I think that Eric and Hybros are a cool team and they would be tough to take down. Well, apparently we're not that tough, since both Hybros and Eric got KO'd in our latest battle . Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Darth Nihilus, I have all parts but the black dastan hair, any alternatives? Quote
RPGer Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Well, apparently we're not that tough, since both Hybros and Eric got KO'd in our latest battle . Well you both would have more health, power, and inventory items. Also, as Jeb kindly pointed out you've been together in all of your quests. Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Darth Nihilus, I have all parts but the black dastan hair, any alternatives? The regular Dak hair would work just fine, I just wanted to make it longer so it looks like he's older. The regular Dak hair is this one in black. Thanks, Scubacarrot! Quote

Darth Nihilus Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 alright, Im getting the pieces together now Okay, thanks again! Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Aaah! So Darth is setting up his character to meet Alisha, so he can have and in-game and real-life relationship with Katie. Good good! Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Aaah! So Darth is setting up his character to meet Alisha, so he can have and in-game and real-life relationship with Katie. Good good! I also made him lose his memory, so as to make sure that he doesn't remember his previous vision of the Hall during Quest #13. Quote
Tanma Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Now this? This would have been a good time for Dyric to flee. Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Now this? This would have been a good time for Dyric to flee. Yeah, the Quest #19 heroes are really getting beaten up out there. Quote
The Legonater Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Now this? This would have been a good time for Dyric to flee. Yeah, the Quest #19 heroes are really getting beaten up out there. Yeah. It's been a real bloodbath. I was absolutley mortified for a second, there, untill I realised all three survivors had a Pheonix Essance on hand. Quote
