Kintobor Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 So a little while ago I said I was working on a new train display, and I said I'd share some of the build when I had a chance. Well, you guys are getting a sneak peak before I post more to the Train thread! The Pen is Mightier than the Sword will start either tomorrow or Thursday. I've had some things come up that have forced me to put it aside, but now that I'm relatively free until Christmas I'm putting time in to get this stuff done. Quote
KotZ Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 That looks pretty cool, Kintobor. How long have you been working on that? Anyone else get sort of nervous jitters (in a good way) right before they host a quest? I'm getting some and I'm really excited to start 146 as I'm tweaking some of the builds and NPCs right now. Palathadric Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Wow! The votes for Eric have really jumped up out of nowhere. Strong candidate! Quote

Since October. I've gotten a lot more work done on it since I took the photo, but this is the best image I could find of it. I'll take more pictures and post them in the train tech forum when I get some time. Quote
Sandy Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 I must keep on apologizing for my hectic life, which lends precious little time for Heroica RPG... I won't be able to be on the computer on this Friday and Saturday at all, sorry! Things should quiet down by next week, though, since I'm not going anywhere for Christmas. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 The Elf suddenly found himself wrapped up by two happy arms. ...I have a bad feeling I may have just given the shippers ideas... Quote
Flipz Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Sorry, Zeph, we must have cross posted (I'm on mobile today). I'll respond to your most recent post in an hour or so. EDIT: On second thought, never mind; I'll reply when I can. Don't wait up for me. (Sorry, splitting headaches=no can write good. ) Edited December 17, 2015 by Flipz Quote
Zepher Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Yes, I'm seeing it in a few hours. Super excited, ready to be let down even if it's a good movie. Quote
KotZ Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Yes, I'm seeing it in a few hours. Super excited, ready to be let down even if it's a good movie. People have been saying it's the best Star Wars film in thirty years, but people were also excited after Episode I came out. Although most places I've seen are saying The Force Awakens is actually good. I'm seeing it Sunday. Quote
Zepher Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Oh, I'm sure it will be just fine. But can anything measure up to my love of Star Wars? I rewatched the originals this past week and in many ways they don't even live up to the mythological hype of Star Wars, and they're superb movies. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 It's great, the only flaw is Kylo Ren's hair , and I say this with absolute sincerity Quote
KotZ Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 It's this cultural icon that transcended extremely fast. If anything the legend surrounding Star Wars is as interesting as the actual story. Quote

CMP Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Watched the originals last night, leaving in an hour to go see it. Pumped. Edited December 17, 2015 by CallMePie Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I quit SW after Disney decided that they'd 'delete' the entire EU. And from everything they've done... Yeah, I'm feeling no regrets. #originalsixandtorareonlytruecanon Quote

Asphalt Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I quit SW after Disney decided that they'd 'delete' the entire EU. How did Disney delete the European Union? And what does an Onion Router have to do with sci fi? Quote
KotZ Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 And what does an Onion Router have to do with sci fi? Because onions have layers, and fantasy/scifi are classified as the same genre in Barnes and Noble. So Shrek is basically scifi. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 How did Disney delete the European Union? And what does an Onion Router have to do with sci fi? Heh.(For those that don't know...) EU=(Star Wars:) Expanded Universe - (Basically, everything that isn't one of the movies or the CW(Clone Wars) TV show.) TOR= The Old Republic - series of 3 video games, about the early days of the SW galaxy. KoTOR(Knights of the Old Republic), TOR:tSL(The Old Republic: The Sith Lords), and Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Chosen Minifigure Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 How did Disney delete the European Union? Everybody leave the Internet now. Asphalt has won it. Also, is now a good time to admit I've only properly seen Phantom Menace? Quote
