There are quite a few really awesome gifts. The Grogmas beard will wax and wane, the Pheonix emblem is awesome, the Wolfed, crown of the desert, and many other really nice items. Thanks for doing the event again this year Sandy. It was fun.

Cree's and Actaeon's artifacts are really good too.

Definitely have a bit of re-balancing to do, battle-wise.

I deliberately designed the item to be powerful, a la Sarge's pegleg; it's a game-changer for the character, and something that fits them far more specifically than anything else could, so of course you want it to be something they'll be able to use all the time and/or base their build around.

I'm also super happy Throlar got the talisman I suggested for him, he's really earned it.

...you know, looking at Terry's gift, I really want to sell him the staff I got from Calibor.

Its only drawback: Fire doesn't do double damage against vermin (as my last Fields party will attest). It'd do rather well with an Opal.

I remember reading the original pitch for this idea - this looks like a very promising final version of it! Looking forward to reading it!

Just got round to reading the grogmas gifts list and I have to say some of those gifts...
