There's something endlessly amusing about the majority of 139 having this massive, world-changing discussion while Purpearl continues her shopping errands.

Perfect example of gender inequality in the ancient times.

I also find it strange why there would be a separate side quest if everyone should be involved in the council.

Arthur came to warn Purpearl about the meeting, but she decided not to come back to the City Center once she was done talking to the shadow.

But then why would there even be a side quest in the first place if everyone is expected to be at the council. :sceptic:

I think our accessing the side-quests was an artifact of the Baltarok party getting so heavily delayed. We got there early, and since we couldn't access the main plot without them, Zeph let us dig a little into the side-quests that were meant to be done after this meeting with Hope.

If I can offer a bit more speculation, I think Zepher as a QM is letting you, the player, make that choice. He included a side quest (or several) to be completed at some point during the final phase of 139, and Purpearl is deciding to do that now. Who is he to force her to attend the meeting? Although she really should be there. :poke:

As one last teaser for 147 (although I have a suspicion I'll be pushing it back a couple of weeks)...

Here's who you'll be seeing.

Definitely this guy:

Maybe these guys:

If he didn't already run away, this guy:

If you can find her, she's there:

Same deal for her, too:

And if anyone remembers these two guys, they may have a cameo:

Definitely not him, though:

Hmm, gimme two weeks I'll start sounding like a ploughing priest

+1 for the use of 'ploughing'. Do people actually use the word in such a way or is that solely a Witcher invention to circumvent the f-word in their games?

Only the Witcher sadly :sceptic: , in Britain our substitue is "Bloody" . I think the Last kingdom used it a bit though, as well. :classic:

Edit: Also, I see what your doing with Henry Antoine "La Valette"

Ah, okay! I thought it might've been one of those weird Brit-English things. There's a great quote about that in 'Snatch' (I believe) when there's an American guy in London who says: "Doesn't anyone speak English here? I thought you people invented the damn language!"

"Oh, um, and where's Mary Lancaster's Bakery... as well. I, um, like pies." Annienal hastily adds in.

"That must be why that armour's looking a bit tight."

SHOTS FIRED!!

Not for now, most of those artifacts I never use anyway, and the Dark Arts Armour is sellable for the right price since Artisan is the only class I'd ever use it with.

I was wondering why you were selling the shield. Then I realized you probably couldn't use it as an Artisan.

I've been keeping it for knights in my party or in case I decide to go Paladin again, but I don't think the latter's going to happen...so. I'm kind of tired of carrying around such a massive Bag of Holding.

There has been a slight change in plans, for the advertised Värtland Saga has been postponed to next winter. Winter is still coming, just a little slower than anticipated...

I personally have a couple of quests coming up, but keep sending me your ideas if you are interested in hosting.
