Lind Whisperer Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 "If the dragon wishes to know who deserves to lead Eubric, then I will tell him why the Bonapartes, and the Crescent Union as a whole, should lead. Simple as that. It's survival of the fittest, and the Union is quite strong." Is Geoff secretly a Crescent sympathizer?http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=114705 Quote
Endgame Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 (edited) Nope, it means Endgame shouldn't write quest updates right after he wakes up, because he's more stupid than usual then. Thinking of it, both mistakes I made in dialogue were taking to Jinnipher! Is it a Moon Elf thing, Jimbee? Edited March 3, 2016 by Endgame Quote

Endgame Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 I like my take on it better. If it was my character, maybe, but only one of these six is even mine. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 "No, Crescent's made up of the Guild of Invasion, the Ji Pei, and the Shadeaux." -Intentional mistype. I seriously thought it was "Invasion" for a good few months. A misconception aided by the prevalence of Nute Gunray parts in all depictions. If it was my character, maybe, but only one of these six is even mine. Is Geoff a Zepher character? It looks like his style of photo... Quote

Sandy Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 Geoff is sandy's. It's Geor. Geor Bullsworth. Quote
Mencot Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 It's Geor. Geor Bullsworth. Aha, more evidence for this conspiracy... Lynch the Crescent spy! Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Aha, more evidence for this conspiracy... Lynch the Crescent spy! That would make an awesome twist, though.... Quote
Endgame Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 It's Geor in thread, I haven't messed up his canon that bad yet! Quote
Palathadric Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) Aha, more evidence for this conspiracy... Lynch the Crescent spy! Aye, aye to that. Though I'm a staunch Crescent supporter, based on experience, one has to grieve their low morals. Edited March 4, 2016 by Palathadric Quote
Flipz Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I went through at least three different plans for that Round. Blast it all, if we have to get Veken in our fight, can the defense at least get an ally out of Jules? Seriously, though, that defense fight...remind me never to Quest with Hoke and Hybros again, they get the worst bosses. Quote
CMP Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Seriously, though, that defense fight...remind me never to Quest with Hoke and Hybros again, they get the worst bosses. How else do you suggest we damage them? I'm just waiting for Melville to show up, fifteen thousand plus health and all. Quote
Endgame Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) I hope Zane shows up, even though he isn't dead, because ~chaos.~ (Then again, he doesn't believe in it, does he?) Also, lets see if Miirym is quick learner or not. Edited March 4, 2016 by Endgame Quote
Flipz Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 How else do you suggest we damage them? I'm just waiting for Melville to show up, fifteen thousand plus health and all. Get them to fight the rest of the party, all of the "worst offenders" are highly vulnerable to PvP. ...actually, counter-question, how do you suggest Dyric do anything? Literally every enemy in this fight is immune to his special skills (Blind and Assassination), and half of them have been immune to his attacks. Poor guy can't seem to catch a break. ...then again, looking back at his history he has been very bad at informing Arthur when Arthur's friends have been killed on his watch... Quote
CMP Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 I usually throw in a bunch of mooks for assassins. The class's role is basically crowd control, and unfortunately this crowd is all bosses. Quote

Sorry about that, just ripping them as they were originally typed up, not trying to put Dyric in a box! How else do you suggest we damage them? Flipz Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) I usually throw in a bunch of mooks for assassins. The class's role is basically crowd control, and unfortunately this crowd is all bosses. On the plus side, my Dragoon build is finally starting to pay off. I am really good at single-target damage, and the splash damage off of Miirym has been nice as well. Then again, I think I'm only doing as well as I have been because my SP is higher than my Level; Hoke is a full ten levels ahead of me and has a much stronger weapon, but MDM has mentioned a few times being dissatisfied with how the class is treating him, and I think the HP-to-SP-to-Power ratios are to blame. When you roll with the big boys... ;) I dunno, I like the toys I've gotten off of the smaller Quests a lot more than the ones I've gotten off of the big ones. Edited March 5, 2016 by Flipz Quote

I read that differently at first. On the plus side, my Dragoon build is finally starting to pay off. Doesn't surprise me. It's hard to make the battle interesting for characters who can only really take damage from maybe the boss enemy of an encounter. Quote

I get the need for Instant Kill Immunity from time to time but occasionally it gets a bit ridiculous. On the bright side, we've got a fairly big group here. We should be able to hold up until Dyric can start doing some damage. ...then again, looking back at his history he has been very bad at informing Arthur when Arthur's friends have been killed on his watch... I must be missing something here. Jules, and...? Quote

Eh, it's plenty interesting for me, but I think that partially stems from me trying to keep everyone else on their feet. It also helps that I have a squishy Dragon to have to keep safe; I can't imagine what battles would be like if the base HP was 30 total instead of 30 + 30 from starting at Level 30. I dunno, it's nice to have one playing piece I don't really have to worry about while I'm shuffling around all the other characters and targets. I must be missing something here. Jules, and...? Sir Leonard Kniveton. They weren't as close as Arthur and Lord Knyghton, but the guy did choose Arthur for his first Quest ever. Quote
Endgame Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Surprise, trying to be diplomatic and intimidate someone into compliance may backfire. Quote
