Palathadric Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Edit: all better. I used the right icon this time. But they did actually roll three essences when I rolled the loot. All in all the odds were strangely in their favor. And may the odds forever be in our favour. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) You know, FoG team, if you shared your gear around a a little bit, you might find yourselves dying just a little bit less. Edited March 14, 2016 by Lind Whisperer Quote
Skeleton_ Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Well, I had a good FoG run. The archer's arrow storm alone will wipe out half our team in one shot, the bugbear healers will keep everything to full health, and I can't touch the cat because it's etheral. Only Hunkan can flee, and we are mostly just a bunch of newbies. Megablocks. Quote
Asphalt Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 With the right strategy this battle is entirely winnable. It will not be easy, it's the fields after all, but it is winnable. Quote
Endgame Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Once again, Zee is the biggest pain in the a out of the entire court. Quote

Asphalt Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 See it is going well, just don't get cocky. There are still specials that can wipe you out if you strategize poorly. Quote
JimBee Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 PSA: I'll most likely be without Internet access the 20th-25th. Kintobor can control Jinnipher's actions in 147 and MDM is in charge of 139 when I'm unable to post. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 (From http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=114018:) Imagine playing a full-scale Heroica game, at some convention. Quote
Asphalt Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 You guys hurt Vindsval's boy luke You might have trouble. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 (edited) Imagine playing a full-scale Heroica game, at some convention. I've actually considered it and still hope to do it one of these days. The trick is that the game is very much number crunchy on the DM's part. Where in more popular RPG's players keep track of their health, stats, and attacks, the mechanics of Heroica RPG is mainly run by the DM. Where in more popular RPG's players often do not know a monster's "stats", knowing a monster's "stats" and keeping track of them is vital for party survival. While the RP would be awesome, it would need a little tweaking to make it flow better in person. Edited March 18, 2016 by Waterbrick Down Quote

That should do the trick pretty nicely, and I can't imagine a basic text one would be too hard to write... Quote
Sandy Posted March 18, 2016 Author Posted March 18, 2016 I will be away on a trip for a week from tomorrow to Easter Sunday. After that I hope to get back on the groove of this game after that, since my current life has not left me much time or energy for this game anymore... Quote
Endgame Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 Siercon almost followed Lind to the memorial... Honestly, he thought about digging up the remains, of what he imagined to be Imortalis's Dragon son.. and use the bone wings in a potential future class... Wings seemed to be on his mind a lot, even in spite of him doubting his winged warrior future. Regardless, he proceeded to the wildlife garden instead. There is something very darkly comedic about this, and I don't know why. 147 update coming soon! Just editing the final pictures. Quote
Palathadric Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 "What the hell?" was about the only thing going through my mind. On instinct I sprint off with the rest of the party. "Run!" Thinking "Hoodwinked" here. Quote
Endgame Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 Have the Defenders not def3nded enough if the enemies are starting to be recycled? Quote
Zepher Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 The enemies are spirits. They just need to regroup themselves and then they can throw themselves back at the Defenders. It's like a sort of "you're in their house now" thing. That being said, I imagine the battle should be done in two or three days. Quote

Out of curiosity, are the enemies killed when Zee is on the field added to the destroyed soul count, and then subtracted later when revived, or just never added at all? Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 "That is very polite. But do you realize what you've done? Immortalis is no god. He will be the first to say it. He is beyond anger, but he is not beyond grief and pain. And you caused him a lot of it." What does it take to be a god in the HEROICA universe? Immortalis seems as qualified as anyone... Quote
Endgame Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 Being a member of divinity, for starters, not just an old lizard with lots of time on his hands. Quote

A high school diploma or GED, preferred Bachelor's in Egotism, a detailed resume with past experience in managing mortal followers and simultaneously a plane in the divine realm plus a forward-thinking attitude with a willingness to engage dynamic problem-solving on a regular basis. You need at least a Masters Degree to be a God, just an FYI. What you're describing qualifies you for demigod at best. A Doctorate qualifies you for Elder Godship, or so I hear. Quote

Kintobor Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I'll have a solid update for Pen is Mightier tomorrow. I've been trying to get some sets finished, but I simply haven't had the time, and they're kind of important for the next leg of the quest. Apologies. That being said, this just got announced, and I can finally find a legitimate reason to buy more MLP merch. Quote
