Pedguin Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Palathadric, why didn't you sign up for 147? You should have converted Immortalis to Christianity! Quote
Endgame Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 He took his name off the sign ups at the last second. I would've picked him. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Corvis sighs. "Siercon. I will deliver an ultimatum. Tell me where these animals were acquired from, and I will believe that you are a new recruit." I vote they were plucked from the Void. Quote
Endgame Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 (edited) I vote they were plucked from the Void. No helping the liar Edited March 20, 2016 by Endgame Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Corvis sighs. "Siercon. I will deliver an ultimatum. Tell me where these animals were acquired from, and I will believe that you are a new recruit." So in other words, "What's in my pockets?" Quote
Endgame Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 So in other words, "What's in my pockets?" It's something only a new recruit would know! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 It's something only a new recruit would know! Sure it is... Quote
Palathadric Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Palathadric, why didn't you sign up for 147? You should have converted Immortalis to Christianity! He took his name off the sign ups at the last second. I would've picked him. Yeah, for some reason I thought there weren't enough higher-leveled heroes to go on the quest, and I've wanted to go on the Scholar quest since the class was first introduced...but hindsight in 20/20. Maybe Pretzel's spirit can magically appear (where are the Ziegfrieds when you need them?) and set everything right. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 So...what exactly is Siercon planning to do, masquerading as an angel? Remembering what he planned to do with Vorpalis's corpse, I'm a bit concerned for the safety of those animals... Quote
Endgame Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Sure it is... Or, actually, apparently Siercon knows it too, because that was the correct answer! That was the exposition you were supposed to get from that fella, but by deceiving him, maybe you'll get more? Quote
Palathadric Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 As far as 146 is concerned, someone is going to feel Vind's wrath. Calamity, not smart! Quote
KotZ Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 As far as 146 is concerned, someone is going to feel Vind's wrath. Calamity, not smart! I mean, better to do it in one fell swoop than drag it out right? Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Oops. I should have paid more attention to his level. It's a numbers game, essentially. If erasing a city creates a smaller death toll than the death toll the city itself would eventually cause, than we'll erase it. War and demons are always cause for concern, of course, and Eubric is teeming from both. I don't know what it is, exactly, but this makes Immortalis suddenly seem darker than he was previously portrayed... ...What would you like to save from Eubric, Siercon?" Ooh, ooh, Proggs, say Proggs! Quote
Endgame Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) What, that it implies that he has a death count spreadsheet or something? Besides, I think Charon said something similar in 138... Edited March 23, 2016 by Endgame Quote
Flipz Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Heavens above, this is stressful...there's a stupidly small chance that we kill everyone but Zee and Slim yscum in Chauncey's Spirit Burst, but Hans would have to get a SHIELD on Lethauros first. It would be supremely awesome if successful, though, and if Dyric manages his hit all of the Slim Yscum will be poisoned and cursed so mopping them up will be easier as well. Quote
Pedguin Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 In my quest 145 side-thing, I'm being faced with an enemy which drops a teleportapple. Teleport apples teleport you to the fields of glory, right? Is this all apart of a plan to take me to the FoG so I can help Petaldan? Darn, Palathadric. You certainly are good. Quote
Flipz Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Teleportapples only work within the Fields. ...or at the very least, they can only teleport people to a Sanctuary within the Fields. I wouldn't categorically rule out their use in other locations in the world that might happen to have a Fields-like setup, at least not without Word of Sandy. Quote
swils Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Well, they certainly weren't able to insta-port Bluto away from Baba's reach, though now I can't recall if they simply didn't work, or couldn't actually reach him via V-mail. Quote

CMP Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Welcome to the game, Kappy. Please note that your basic starting weapons do not have any special effects, like dealing asleep. Other than that, your stats look good. Quote
Kappy Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Fixed it. Sorry, I thought I could choose any 3 WP weapon, instead of just a generic one. Quote
KotZ Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 She was happy to be rid of Calamity, if even for a moment. That was savage. Quote
Mencot Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 That was savage. That is what Annie is behind her innocent, egocentric shell! Quote
