I get the same error message. Do you have any Anti-Virus Rider Raider?

Yup. O well, better luck next time.

On a different note, am I the only one that can't access my Hero statistics page? It's on page 5. I get a security error, from clubpenguin.

Deceptive site ahead

I turn it off when I'm on trusted sites because it slows my computer.

I had the same problem when I was using Google Chrome. I switched browsers and I have not had the same problem since.

Seems to work for me as well...

never seen that one.

Clearly, someone has a link to a malicious or badly-coded site in their signature, and it's breaking pages for people with Chrome. I'd say it's worth bringing up to EB admins to deal with.

Found the link, it's bionicle_fanatic's picture.

Hey, I thought we agreed that Jinnipher's downing was Lind's fault!

It would be somewhat nice for Boomingham to know he's being ranked alongside such powerhouses. I guess he's becoming king of Eubric for a reason.

Oh, please, don't stroke his ego any further. It could be going to Karie.

Yeah it's been happening to me for days too. I thought it was just me so I've been editing Kheyli's stats on my phone :enough:

Nah, I'm sure U'Voros or Anwyl will be king.

The position of King, or Boomingham's ego? :look:

The circumstances were different, but Arthur's being a bit of a hypocrite. :hmpf_bad: I seem to remember someone using a Love Potion in #139*.

*Yes, it was for battle, but I can't imagine Arthur knew exactly what he would end up using it for when he bought it.

Also, if it comes down to "moral implications," I'd say that "Trying to have a conversation with someone," is slightly less outrageous than "Completely incapacitating someone so you can kill them easily.".

Remember, RP is RP. PCs and NPCs will see Lind as they like - some see Sorrow as family, others think he deserves to die. Nature of the game. :shrug_oh_well:

1.) It was a loot drop, (from the lair of a known sociopathic monster to boot),

2.) There's a hell of a difference between "I need to make this enemy too enamored to hit me otherwise they will kill me" and "Hi, I'd like to buy some roofies to use on my girlfriend!", and

3.) Arthur may not know this in-character and so has no means nor reason to bring it up, but Annie has said nothing to indicate she's even interested in Lind, the entire relationship has been nothing but Lind being creepy and stalkery towards her! In fairness, Warlen has also been somewhat inappropriately possessive, but he's not the one who has disregarded consent repeatedly.

I really hope you're just playing Lind as oblivious to his own disturbing behavior, but based on your reaction I have this horrible feeling you have no idea how horrifying a request he made. :sceptic:

Yes, there is.

roofies
Actually...Endgame never actually said what they were. Love potion can mean anything from "roofies" to "falling in love with someone for no reason".

My reaction is being ticked at having my character called a Monster by someone who used a "Love Potion" a lot more maliciously than Lind ever would have, and at having someone try to retcon actions that I made.

I can't believe I'm having to say this, but you do not drug people to force them to have a conversation with you. That is not a thing that sane and healthy people do. It is wrong on a very, very, VERY fundamental level.

There's not a significant moral difference between the two.

I feel like this should probably remain an in-character/private conversation. :shrug_confused:

It is worth noting Lind worships a genocidal dragon and Arthur once ate a guy. I am absolutely certain that on some level every single hero is a monster and that's probably not counting the thousands of people they've killed as a whole.

Fine. I'd also argue that killing hundreds and hundreds of people for money/goods/etc. isn't exactly the sanest or healthiest thing ever, but apparently we're just going to overlook that bit...

I will preface this by quoting what has already been said:

CMP is a hundred percent correct.

I'm sorry my little cameo from 86/105 has caused this issue, and maybe I should not have had Hilda be so casual about them/Gabriel get so suddenly aggro about it. I will try to resolve this in the fairest manner possible, because the series of events that are confused happened because the two different actions were posted within the span of 3 seconds, according to the time stamps.

This will probably be the only time I say this about Heroica or any sort of interactive media, but it's just a game. Please trust me to handle this accordingly, and don't allow bitterness over what could have been a cool RP moment caused by a continuity error get in the way of that or your enjoyment of 147 in general. The quests still has 2 to 3 months left in it, I imagine, and that type of negativity is something that'll end up hurting everyone in the long run, especially you two. We haven't even gotten to the bits of the quest where the camaraderie is supposed to be messed with in character, so please don't let something like this get between the party out of character. :classic:

Flipz, I'm sorry for any negativity...well, no, that implies that there might not have been any negativity on my part, and there was negativity...

I'm sorry for getting angry.
