Sandy, thank you for the wonderful experience you have provided for all of us as both the manager of the game and the QM - since I have been a participant of your quests and events and each one of them has been a wonderful experience, like the whole of Heroica game. It is truly sad to see you step down, but I like to think there are members who can pick up the torch and continue to manage and improve the game in the way you have done so far.Good luck and hopefully we will see some great new events from you in the future!

Yeah, I think it's partially because it caught everyone off-guard. I just hope that Heroica continues despite Sandy's decision.

I think is been quiet for some time. Besides what are we supposed to say, it kind of feels like the end, but we will have to see what the future will hold. I got an idea who(s) could replace Sandy but it is just my opinion on that matter.

@Sandy - It is always sad to see someone leave, but hopefully you will still have time to come visit occasionally.

As for what happens to my characters... I don't really know. Maybe I will continue participating as a player if this game continues, maybe not. Time will tell. I will of course see through the quests I am currently on.

Thanks for all your hard work Sandy! It's sad to think that Heroica won't ever be what it once was, but I suppose all good things must come to an end. I hope we can properly wrap up the main Eubric storyline at some point, if there is enough interest.

Aren't free hits supposed to be done that the totals of all the enemy attacks are combined?

As in Germ would have: 6+6+15+9=36/2=18-2 SP=16 Damage?

I thought that was how it was supposed to be run.

That is correct. Free hits are cumulative in order to keep high SP from becoming too game breaking.

It's really sad to see you go Sandy. I can't believe just one person managed to create a game that would become basically 1/5 of my life (Before you say anything I consider 1/5 a lot) and you have always been my second favorite Quest Master.

Still, thank you for the awesome game and time you invested in it!

I wasn't around to hear the official announcement of your departure, Sandy, but I'll echo what everyone else has said, and I will say thank you for the incredible game and world you have created, and for all the time and effort you have invested into it! I think we can all say that you have earned your retirement after five years of managing the game!

Do people recommend getting two Level-up mushrooms or the 500 gold in the Fields? I may go for two more battles to get up to 50GP to get one or the other.

It really depends. I, personally, don't think level-boosting starts to be worth it until the Level-30s. However, if you're super close to a major leveling milestone, I suppose it could be worth it.

I'd recommend the Gold, though; gold has become fleetingly rare in drops recently, and overleveling can push you out of a desired level bracket for Quests (though with how few there've been lately, brackets have seemed to be widening considerably as of late).
