Darth Nihilus Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Oh, pick me, pick me. Ahem, for stopping you that is, not for getting killed. I'm not sure you'll still be alive to stop him, having to go through an entire Quest with Alisha.... Quote
Tanma Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) Looks like someone's having issues about where Quest 15 is heading . It surely took a turn for the worse/darker side of things. Well since De'kra is very interested in the Ji Pei, this will hurt his association with Hybros. Although the fact that Hybrod isn't the one putting a knife to her thoat will help him. But I can do that intro thing with any quest. And so it was that the eight heroes stood before the army of elves, their small ally force hanging back. Though their minds quivered with doubts, these heroes held firm. For despite their wounds and their misgivings about the war, they would not, could not, surrender. They knew that it was neither elf nor knight that began this fight, and that both parties were pawns in the games of the Shadeaux. But yet they had to press on and fight this fight. For by hero's hand began this war, and by hero's hand it shall end. Those hands may be bruised and filled with splinters, but they can still wield a mighty blade. Some in this world believe that there were no heroes in this world, others believed that heroes are insignificant. What could they do against an army? But there are heroes left in this world, few they are. And sometimes, a few is all you need to make a difference... Edited February 13, 2012 by Tanma Quote

Except the butler, who died of fear when the Elves launched chickens from their catapults. ...what? Wha-why? Why would you write that? On the matter of Quest 18, what has Nur been drinking? He's been having mead hasn't he. We saw all too well the affects of mead, back in Leo and Alisha's battle. Remember kids, you don't need mead. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) Look for a cliché "Viking". Got it. OOC You do know that they did not really wear horned helmets, right? And they were not called "Vikings", they were called Norsemen. "Viking" was a verb meaning to pillage and plunder. One would "go viking". Not jusr Norsemen. 'Vikings' were Scandinavian raiders in general, so there were Swedes from Sweden, Danes from Denmark, and Norsemen from Norway. But you are correct on the word being a verb. *History nerd off* And it is rather disturbing that Nur fantises about female ogres, but knowing Jeb I'm surprised it isn't an Orc. Darth Nihilus Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 ...what? Wha-why? Why would you write that? To be stupid, like I usually am. Duh. And also because the Quest #19 Heroes need to stop talking about the meaning of life and horses. Quote
K-Nut Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Nur's desires continue to manifest in a cloudy haze of feminine companionship. Oh I don't think Althior will be too happy if he hears about that. Quote
Flipz Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Fooooog! Quick, someone whip up another Quest, we need to reel him in while we still can! Quote

I believe you mean Quest 17? Either way, what Arthur said was beautiful and I won't let you destroy it! ...I am joking of course. But I am sure this horse thing is very important to the battles ahead and character development, so if we all wait I am sure it will make sense. Of course the first time I watched the Giant Spider Invasion I thought the random discussion about talking to plants was a plot point. Edit: By Lewa's tendency to get brainwashed! Rogue-Prime has appeared! Edited February 13, 2012 by Tanma Quote
K-Nut Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I believe you mean Quest 17? Either way, what Arthur said was beautiful and I won't let you destroy it! Half of the point I set that up was hoping Arthur would give a long, beautiful, and emotional speech. Did I think I'd walk out of it with an apprentice? Never in a million years. Quote

Say, if Althior picks the Rogue-like option for his Advanced Class, would that make Arthur the Sorcerer's Apprentice? Quote
K-Nut Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Say, if Althior picks the Rogue-like option for his Advanced Class, would that make Arthur the Sorcerer's Apprentice? That's actually what I'm going to do. But I picked Sorcerer weeks before Arthur became my apprentice. Quote
CMP Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 That's actually what I'm going to do. Was what all that about filthy Rogues? Quote
Bricksandparts Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 $1,000,000... This calls for OVER 9,000!!! Though it's kind of funny that it says $1,000,000... Quote
K-Nut Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Was what all that about filthy Rogues? Hey! I never said Filthy, I said typical. And I won't be a rogue, I'll be a Sorcerer. Dear Ellaria, My name is Leo Aragon. I too am a hero. I am leaving on a quest, so I could not deliver this in person. I love you. How much do you want to bet Ellaria's just going to rip it up once she sees it? Quote
CMP Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 How much do you want to bet Ellaria's just going to rip it up once she sees it? I bet more money she'll wonder who this is and why he's in love with somebody he's not met or seen before. Quote

Tanma Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I think Leo may be a Stalker. I don't think he ever acknowledged her existance in game, though. Agreed, it won't be long now till he is burning her name in a street or trying to kill a house leader "for" her. And although he hasn't done that yet, when we factor in Quest 6, Quest 15, and maybe Quest 13, along with certain individuals; it looks as though Herpica Hall is just as bad as Eubric. Perhaps there should be a group of Heroes to police their brethren, to keep them on the Good part of the alignment pool. But who watches the heroes.... Quote
Zepher Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Could we add "Blessed" to the positive effects? Quote

True, it seems as if Leo randomly chose an available girl to fancy just to for the sake of it. I mean, it was Jess he first fancied without ever meeting, untill he realised she wouldn't choose him over Haldor even if they did ever meet (and he still hasn't), now it is Ellaria who he fancies without ever meeting. Who next? Cinna? Eridicath? Alexis? Edited February 13, 2012 by Scorpiox Quote

Scorpiox Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Hey! Alexis is taken! So was Jess, but Leo didn't seem to mind! Quote
K-Nut Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 So was Jess, but Leo didn't seem to mind! That's because Haldor wouldn't kill Leo for flirting with his girl. I'm just waiting for him to flirt with Tesni. Quote

Who next? Cinna? Eridicath? Alexis? For Leo's sake let us hope it is not Cinna. De'kra doesn't want her to be infected with the love plague, and if he thinks beating up Leo will stop her from getting the infection, he will beat up Leo. Depending on Arthur's response to De'kra's last message, violence might be a viable mthod for Arthur too. Originally that option was completely viable, but after their talks De'kra isn't as happy about smacking him upside the head. Of course De'kra has a horrible record with die so odds are he won;t hurt much, but when he gets lucky... Quote

With recent PMs I've been having, I think De'kra might want to get his dagger sharpened. Quote
