Yes, Brickdoctor and cralegoboy will both be hosting a quest just as soon as they finish the one they are playing themselves. If anyone else from the players of current quests wishes to host their own quest as well, just contact me and we'll work out the details.

Me! Me! Pick me! Sorry... but I am interested, Pm being sent NOW.

Not to sound annoying, but in the most recent update of my character, I have 1 less than full ether, though I have not expended an ether, correct me if I'm wrong, for the entirety of the game. I believe that this arose because I drank the tonic when my ether had been accidentally emptied, and all but one was restored. It's not a big problem, but I think my party members would benefit from the fullness of my ether. :classic: Please don't Tarrasque me.

I'll look into it. Little mistakes like this happen all the time because I have the stats of 18 players to look after, so it's totally alright to notify me of them. In fact, it's to your and your party's best interest.

Edit: Ah, I found out why you're missing one ether. A Tonic only replenishes 5 ether, so when you had 1/7 ether and used a Tonic, you then had 6/7 ether.

Yep! So, I have your permission to correct my stats? Thanks! You're doing very well at managing all of the characters and games!

Yes, you have my permission to decrease your ether by one, as you should have 8/9 ether, not full value.

My adrenaline is rushing right now. Haven't felt this much excitement in years!

Boss battles have that kind of an effect on players, usually.

I thought one of the quests would be over by now, but it looks like they will all end approximately at the same time, since everyone has reached the final battle in their respective quest.

Well, If you recall, I was effected by the special power of the books which depleted all my ether. In response, I drank the tonic, but later recalled that my Cleric ability prevents special damage. You agreed to let me have the tonic back, but continued to use the un-updated stats which showed by ether one less that it would have been had I never used the tonic, and sorted it all out before then. Right?

Duh, I totally forgot about that incident! But yes, you are absolutely right, I apologize. I'll restore that one ether to you right away.

FYI, I'm going to chance the Clerics' "Spirit Guard" description after these quests so that it will only protect the cleric from special effects (like poison, sleep, blind), not all special skills. It saves the hosts from many confusing situations concerning the special skills.

Great! Thanks, sorry for being annoying  ! I agree, Spirit Guard did seem a bit powerful. Not that I'm complaining. :innocent2:

The rules have been updated with a page about the most common battle effects. I hope the future Quest Masters will find this helpful in planning for wicked Special Skills for their monsters.

Question, when outside of battle do our health and ether in the case of magic users, return to normal? Is there some kind of hotel/inn/bedroom type mechanic that lets you heal or should I use a potion or helpful cleric?

Bedroll perhaps?

Thanks very much for the list! Since special effects are likely to be far more common than *weapons with* special effects, this is even more useful than the list of unique weapons I'd asked for, heh.

QMs are also free to create weapons, so a list of unique weapons probably wouldn't be as useful anyways.

Which reminds me, is there a limit to how high in power a weapon can be?

Of course health and ether returns to normal in between quests (as you are free to rest whenever you want), I just forgot to return them for your party. I've corrected it to the topic, and I will post this question into the FAQ on the first post of this topic.

No, not really. A QM shouldn't give out too powerful weapons, though, or the balance of the game will be broken.

I have a question, how much inventory can a single hero carry?

There is no limit, but if you feel like you're carrying too many items, you can always sell some at the Marketplace or give them to other players. You are of course free to just toss away items you don't need and can't sell.

Thank you very much! I am carrying quite a few items (although most of them are quite useful), so maybe I'll give some to the players who don't have quite as many.

And while I'm here I'd just like to say that you're doing a great job hosting! I know it's not easy to host a game as big as this one, and I really appreciate that you're taking the time to do it really well! Thanks, Sandy! :sweet:
