Scorpiox Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 That's because Haldor wouldn't kill Leo for flirting with his girl. I'm just waiting for him to flirt with Tesni. He would have dismembered Leo, but the 'flirting' didn't get any more than 'I'll flirt with Jess if we are ever in the hall at the same time', which doesn't really count. I don't think Leo is that stupid to flirt with Tesni. Quote
Mibbiwocket Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Or Alisha! I don't think either of those big scary barbarian women would take too kindly to that! Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 :O Rufus, But where are your stats? Quote

Scorpiox Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) He already tried to flirt with Alisha, and failed.... I know dub thee, Sir Leo the failure-of-a-flirt! I wouldn't tolerate that Darth, make sure he is disposed of before they can develop a friendship during their quest. Edited February 13, 2012 by Scorpiox Quote

Zepher Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 CallMePie, you are a fantastic example of role-playing. Very well played speech. You had a plan, but waited until, story-wise, it was appropriate for you to bring it up. That's how we as players should be. This game is interactive - loose outlines are fun, but they must relate to real events in the story. Killing a dark wizard seems a perfectly acceptable way to set off your demon chicken. You waited until a good and logical point, and that makes it all the more intriguing! Quote
K-Nut Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 The chicken flapped off to another section of the ship. Atramor slunk into a gap between a barrel and a crate and stared with hollow eyes at his hat, which had curled into cinders to ponder the words of this...thing. When did chickens get so complicated? See! Finnegan's not that crazy! Sir Leo, Knight in the Holy order of the friendzone Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) Ok, ok, I think we all get the point now. I think the point is that we all want to encourage Leo to take his time, go at things gradually, if he is a knight, then let him express himself tactfully where it concerns his love interest, not plunging full steam ahead like a barbarian in a china shop. But also let us remember, that it is Boy Wonder's character and he can play him like he wants to. Edited February 13, 2012 by Waterbrick Down Quote
Zepher Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Look at WBD, being reasonable both in and out of the game! Some people ARE helpless flirts. Perhaps Leo is just one of those people. Quote

On another note, good to see 2 of the 'original' players return, very cool. You seem to be missing some stats, though. Quote

They don't need them, they're But seriously, neither words nor emoticons can express my joy over these Heroes of Legend appearing in the Hall to Quest once more! :cry_happy: For Leo's sake let us hope it is not Cinna. De'kra doesn't want her to be infected with the love plague, and if he thinks beating up Leo will stop her from getting the infection, he will beat up Leo. Depending on Arthur's response to De'kra's last message, violence might be a viable mthod for Arthur too. Originally that option was completely viable, but after their talks De'kra isn't as happy about smacking him upside the head. Of course De'kra has a horrible record with die so odds are he won;t hurt much, but when he gets lucky... Also, Tanma, I had a little trouble parsing that post. Could you maybe explain it to me? You waited until a good and logical point, and that makes it all the more intriguing! Thanks Zeph. All of the quests just seemed to tie together how close Atramor's come in terms of interaction with evil characters. I want to hear more of Boomingham's war stories myself, if we ever meet again. I bet McCafferey will have comments to make on the art of warfare this time around. I also love how you've actually managed to display a bit of roleplaying simply through choosing which weapons to enchant with what. Each has character to them. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Nice to see two of the origonal heroes returning, who else here thinks that Pandy and Rufus's characters should meet up and be together. That will put us at two in game and real life couples. Quote
Tanma Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) With recent PMs I've been having, I think De'kra might want to get his dagger sharpened. Then like a unicorn De'kra's blade shall descend upon the hunters and skewer them. ...There aren't that many mythical creatures that I can think of off hand that connect to that sort of thing okay. On the matter of Leo, I mean no disrespect towards him. I just don't get him, like how I don't get Haldor. You see Jess like once and you write a letter of love? It seems...rushed. Go on a quest together first or something. Of course thus far that is working well for him, so maybe Leo has the right idea. Edited February 13, 2012 by Tanma Quote

Let's not forget Arthur's crush on Cinna just from reading about her in the Library. It makes one wonder what kind of illustrations Byblos is putting in the Quest books... Although, I doubt De'kra would need to be worried. IF Arthur manages to meet up with Cinna, he'll take things slower this time. Quote

Could you maybe explain it to me? De'kra believes that the love sickness in the hall is an actually plague. De'kra trusts Cinna because she guarded him when he lost his memories. De'kra doesn't want Cinna to get sick from the plague and go all loopy. Thus De'kra must defend her from the infected since he is immune. If Leo goes after Cinna, De'kra will defend, possibly with violence. De'kra however knows Arthur, and although he quested with Leo they never really talked. De'kra is less willing to beat up Arthur since they talked a bit, so there is a chance that Arthur will be able to explain De'kra's confusion before violence occurs. Trouble is he already knows Arthur is interested in Cinna, so he is wary. Does this help? Hey! Haldor did meet Jess before he fell in love with her, and tested out his l33t writing skills. Leo hasn't actually met Ellaria, wheras Haldor met Jess before he wrote a bad letter. Still, you never went on a quest till after you linked up and I don't think you planned it out too thoroughly. It just felt sudden. Edited February 13, 2012 by Tanma Quote
